Great post, sir. How easily evil seeps into pagan and idol worshipping cultures and infests their people with a murderous heart.

On the bright side, Christ always wins. Not long after a few hundred Spaniards conquered the them, about 9 million Aztecs converted to Christianity. This incredible phenomenon can be traced directly to the conversion of Juan Diego, a Mexican Indian, and Our Lady of Guadalupe who appeared to him in 1531.

In high school, the history books we used always tried to condemn Cortez. My teacher went out of his way to try to show us just who the Aztec's were and why Cortez felt he had to destroy them. In short, the Aztec's were evil.

We may be facing the same situation now.

I remember discussing this topic in college with a great professor. First impressions on the conquest were that it was merely a "bunch of angry white guys with no more wars to wage" and the New World was a perfect place to send them. Not so.

People in Glass houses should not throw stones, as you can see from the quote above, it is the US foreign policy that is more in line with Nazi and Aztec culture and most FReepers go right along with it like sheep.

And you also mentioned Pyramids, maybe you forget already about your Abu Gharib pyramid stacking, the raping of a young boy and killing of unarmed naked prisoners (The red cross stated that 70-90% of prisoners held were innocent of any crime)or maybe you may call this a little fun, well the Nazis would have also called it a little fun.

Many thanks. Freeper recommends are the best. My library has it and I'm reserving it over the internet. I'm intrigued by destructo-robotos such as Aztecs and Islamics. But I see the cautionary tale of evil unlike the liberals who are in foolish awe of relentless murderers.
