Posted on 06/03/2004 5:13:07 PM PDT by bgcountry187
Attention California freepers:
The Protest Warriors and SFVOICEFORISRAEL.ORG will be countering the International Answer this Saturday, June 5th. We will be out to show our support for President Bush, the operations in Iraq, Israel, and our troops. If you would like to join us we are meeting at embarcadero bart at 11:00 a.m. or our final meeting point will be Justin Herman Plaza, which is right across the street from Embarcadero Plaza (where the looney left is ending up). Come bearing flags and signs and lets show our support for President Bush and our troops!! Any and all help is appreciated. If anyone needs any further info please see the Protest Warriors Headquarters website (and register for the San Francisco Chapter, then see Operation Answer Smanser)at:
or the San Francisco Voice for Israel website at:
or mail me and I will respond as soon as possible.
fight the good fight
I hope all of the Bay area freepers can go to this!
The location ..??
Justin Herman Plaza, across from Embarcadero Plaza. We are meeting at 11:00 a.m. at embarcadero bart and marching together to Justin Herman Plaza. You, and anyone else, can either meet us at bart or at the Plaza.
I'm going and I hope we'll get a good turnout. The ANSWER scum will be assembling at 11 a.m. at UN Plaza, Market between 7th & Hyde, which should make it convenient for the "homeless" who live there to join in the festivities.
SF Voice For Israel will be marching too. They always turn out. Should be great fun. I hope someone will bring a Fry Mumia sign. That always drives them nuts.
WIsh I could go!
I can't because I am:
...not a resident of San Francisco.
That said, 10 years ago I spent a wonderful Shabbat at Rabbi Langer's. If I had to live anywhere in California, I'd live there. LA sucks.
Ah...says you. ;-)
Freep 'em like a rented mule!
I would show up, but I have an area football playoff game to go to at 11:30 AM.
I live in San Diego - but I would be there if I could.
SF was always one of my favorite places to visit when I lived in the bay area. And .. the Embarcadero Plaza was where I always headed - because I could find my way around the city if I started there. I haven't been to SF for over 10 years.
SF is kinda far ,
I think i saw the leaders of answer on the freeway the other day in LA
huge banner on the back of a Ford explorer, defeat Bush
and war is not the A.N.S.W.E.R.
It looked exactly like those people in the Answer protest videos
traffic was stoped and their window was down, so I couldn't resist...
so I yelled "answer is not the answer you damn anarchist commies" and " freedom ain't free, it cost blood "
I was in a company truck and they called my boss , but he just laughed
June 5 is the anniversary of the 1967 war in which Israel conquered the West Bank & Gaza
Now THAT's some twisted logic!
I have a bullhorn, Superman outfit and a lot of excess testosterone...Just give me the when and where.
oops...I won't be there, I live in Los Angeles...Your L.A. chapter doing anything?
But it appears that the Protest Warriors are also planning a counter-rally in Los Angeles on June 5.
Somebody please take pictures, and video and audio if possable! these can be like gold later, and please post them here later!!!
we can get great audio sound bites especially if they don't know there is a mike going. you can be a "Covert worrior"
and have a video camera ready for when they try to grab a sign , or spit, or give the finger, or sprout horns and fly away....
I'll look foreward to the photos and the signs from the good guys.
BTTT from the east
Sorry ya can't make it.
we are meeting at 11:00 a.m. at embarcadero bart and then marching together to Justin Herman Plaza. We should have a decent size group. It is looking to be our largest yet.
don't if l.a. is doing anything. All I know of is SF and Washington DC.
That's why the San Francisco Voice For Israel group is going to be there. We met up with them at the March 20 protest. I think they'll have a big group of people this time. I'll post some pics.
Hope to see some of you there...
I'll be there. But the information that I have from another thread (sorry, no link) and private PW email is that the meeting time is 11:30 am. I'll try to re-confirm. See ya.
SF Voice for Israel is meeting at 10:30 at Market and Van Ness and marching to the Embarcadero. They should arrive by 11am.
The lefties are gathering at 11am at the Civic Center and then heading to the Embarcadero.
So it sounds like everyone will converge on the Embarcadero at 11:30am, giving us half an hour to prepare for the stinky masses ;-)
Could you please give some crosstreets ?
Could you please give some cross streets ?
being in the Southland of Los Angeles...can't make it...
but I'll bump the thread for publicity
Bump Bay Area Freepers!
Here's the previous post I mentioned above:

This is an update to my previous post:
The meeting time is --11:30 a.m.-- and we are still meeting at Embarcadero bart. Also, Channel 7 news called me and said they are interested in meeting us. I advised them of our final rally point, Justin Herman Plaza. Anyone who can show up should definately try to be here. We are anticipating our largest group to date. We welcome you all to attend if you can.
Embarcadero BART is on Market street near the California Street cable car terminus.
Okay, what do I know? And I already pinged everyone for the 11am thread. Worst comes to worse, some of us meet half an hour early. I can live with that...
I think I'll shoot to arrive at 11:15 am, just because that's the kind of guy I am! See you there!
The protest warriors are meeting at 11:30 am at embarcadero bart and then moving to justin herman plaza. I don't think the looney lefties will arrive untill sometime after 12:00.
we are meeting at 11:30 am at embarcadero bart which comes up on market street about a block from embarcadero.
can you add me to your sf freeper ring
Market and Van Ness where SF Voice for Israel group is starting from:
What's the difference? ;-)
See you there?
Be careful, Syncro, but FReep 'em good! I'll be there in spirit!
