"You are a credulous, gullible participant in any fool's web-based personality test, and that speaks for itself. We and our test wouldn't have a clue what kind of thinker you are, in any case."

I was marked down as a "linguistic" thinker, unlike most of my guild, who were Logical-Mathematical thinkers. Whatever.

LOL, do we get the same result?

The Renaissance ideal

The leading thinkers of the Renaissance were not just experts in their own field. The renaissance scholar was expected to master all branches of knowledge.

With his insatiable desire to know everything, Leonardo da Vinci is often held up as the ideal Renaissance man.

You (Victoria) are an Interpersonal Thinker

Interpersonal thinkers:

-Like to think about other people, and try to understand them
-Recognise differences between individuals and appreciate that different people have different perspectives
- Make an effort to cultivate effective relationships with family, friends and colleagues

Like interpersonal thinkers, Leonardo had lots of friends and contacts, and was a popular figure at the Italian court.

Other Interpersonal thinkers include Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa, William Shakespeare

Careers which suit Interpersonal thinkers include Politician, Psychologist, Nurse, Counsellor, Teacher

You are an Existential Thinker

Existential thinkers:
- Like to spend time thinking about philosophical issues such as "What is the meaning of life?"
- Try to see beyond the 'here and now', and understand deeper meanings
- consider moral and ethical implications of problems as well as practical solutions

Like existential thinkers, Leonardo questioned man's role in the universe. Many of his paintings explored the relationship between man and God.

Other Existential Thinkers include The Buddha, Gandhi, Plato, Socrates, Martin Luther King

Careers which suit Existential Thinkers include

Philosopher, Religious leader, Head of state, Artist, Writer

Thanks deadhead, it was fun. :-)

I'm a linguini linguistic thinker.

Tend to think in words, and like to use language to express complex ideas.
Are sensitive to the sounds and rhythms of words as well as their meanings.

Doesn't surprise me. They call this "right-brained."

I told my teenaged daughter about these careers, and she said "Well, you're a Mom, so you do ALL of them!" I thought that was pretty cool!

Thanks for pinging me on this MarMema. According to this I'm an Existential thinker! Just like The Buddha, Gandhi, Plato, Socrates, Martin Luther King. Perfect career for me would be: Philosopher, Religious leader, Head of state, Artist, Writer.

Damn that means I've spent all these years nursing for nothing...maybe I should go back to school and re educate myself, Heads of State do get a better pay than nurses. :))

Did y'all ever see "Kentucky Fried Movie"? One of the vignettes was about Eyewitness News, in which the newscaster could see you, but the couple makin' sweet love down by the fire didn't know that, and the anchorman got the whole crew into the frame to watch 'em.
