Mourning
in
America

The Free Republic Network has created a website where you can find a Reagan vigil in your area. The site is new so if you don't see one near you, put some friends together, pick a location and list it there. Thank you.

The address for the website is www.reaganvigil.com, but it won't be active until tomorrow. Until then use the "click" button above.

Thank you to diotima at the Network for putting this website together so quickly.

I wholeheartedly agree.
They will not write his legacy - we will!

I disagree: HISTORY already HAS!

The world lost a great man today.

Well, no, it didn't doesn't, as I'm NOT in the USA, but a bit North of the border.

Yes, there are Canadians who loved and appreciate Ronald Reagan and all he did for the entire world. I happen to be one of them.

Thank you for the site. It is important that everywhere in the US we show our respect for this great president. I hope there will be a gathering at the Bush Library in College Station, TX since I think that would be very appropriate.

We're lucky, we live in LA so hopefully we'll be able to make it to the RR Libray where he will be lying instate.

"We who live in free market societies believe that growth, prosperity and ultimately human fulfillment, are created from the bottom up, not the government down. Only when the human spirit is allowed to invent and create, only when individuals are given a personal stake in deciding economic policies and benefiting from their success -- only then can societies remain economically alive, dynamic, progressive, and free. Trust the people. This is the one irrefutable lesson of the entire postwar period contradicting the notion that rigid government controls are essential to economic development."

Ronald Reagan -September 29, 1981

How about a Houston, Tx vigil?

I am so occupied with planning for Jim Robinson's visit I don't know if I can handle another event. If someone else wants to go with this I will offer whatever help I can.
