Uh, Moammar, it wasn't directed at children.
But you knew that, spineless POS, and that's why you were so quiet the last 20 years.

Your right about that! If anyone has a right to be sore about President Reagan, it's Gadaffi.

Moammar didn't like the box Reagan put him in. And he saw the even smaller spider-hole Bush was preparing for him so he gave up. I guess he learned that Republican presidents are serious and Democrat ones are spineless. Which is more than I can say for Kerry supporters.

Too bad we missed. We didn't. One of Gadaffi's kids died in the raid.
This news item is a nothing. Of course he's gonna bear a grudge. Anyone would in a similar situation. Doesn't mean the raid wasn't justified, it just means that the guy's gonna bear a grudge. C'est la vie.

"I express my profound regrets over Reagan's death before he appears before justice to held to account for his ugly crime in 1986 against Libyan children. Actually if anybody is to be held accountable it is criminals like Gadaffi who through their own reckless behavior would place their own children in harms way.
Anybody who's read the Bible knows that God often allows the judgment of the fathers to fall on their children.

Upon hearing a rumor that President Reagan actually hadn't died, Colonel Ghadafy immediately said "I was misquoted" and "I take it all back!"
I always knew that President Reagan got his attention.

I know that. But we're talking about Khadaffi! If he didn't want to expose his children to harm he shouldn't been killing our troops in Germany. As a matter of fact, he should be turned into CPS ex-post facto.

True, but one of his daughters died in the raid, reportedly.
And Gadaffi can blame himself for this. Anyone involved in the dangerous activities Gadaffi was, is surely responsible for bring disaster on his own house.

He did get one of his daughters killed by Regan, guess I'd be bitter also. But you know what can you expect from a dictator who still can get promoted past Col. You think he would make General at some point.

If he had said anything different, I would have freaked out and started looking for the four horsemen.
At least he's intellectually honest - Reagan put him in a skirt and killed his family for being a terrorist.
Good for us, bad for them.

That is a nice tribute from Momar, considering President Reagan sent him a 'wake up call' one morning as the missile came into his tent.
After that day, Momar started shaping up and even more recently is one of the bigger supporters against Islamofanatical terrorism.

Actually, this is much tamer than what some of the far left whackjobs are saying. Yeah, it's pretty much what I would expect him to say - his kid got bombed after all, and I really can't blame him for holding a grudge in this instance.
Plus, of course, he's nuts.

Dare I point out that it is not too late to bring Moammar before a military tribunal for the acts of terrorism in Lockerbie and a German disco, both of which occurred on his orders?

Up yours, Moammar. Reagan already took care of that for old Daffy Khadaffy.
Khadaffy was trying to get on our good side, after seeing Saddam come out of that spider hole and getting checked for head lice. George Bush thought very highly of Ronald Reagan and this not going to make him think well of Moo-a-mar. Now I wonder what Khadafi will look like getting checked for head lice.

That is a nice tribute from Momar, considering President Reagan sent him a 'wake up call' one morning as the missile came into his tent. Actually the problem was that the bombs (no missiles then) weren't directed at that tent. Moo-a-Mar wasn't' normally in the tent, he was normally in the house/palace that we did bomb. (IIRC, we "accidentally" hit the French Embassy at the same time.)

In the statement he expresses his "profound regret" over Reagan's death. There is nothing here for Bush to not take kindly to. To suggest that Reagan will have to answer for the death of his daughter is not unreasonable. I'm sure that Reagan has already answered to his own conscience for his tragic miss. Regardless of the fact that he provoked the attack, Khaddafy's statement is hardly provocative. If anything, it merely shows that, in addition to mourning Reagan's death, he mourns his daughter also. The fact that Khaddafy regrets Reagan's death strongly suggests that he does not hold a grudge. He's leaving the question of his daughter's death to a more impartial judge.
