Kerry wouldn't get any campaign coverage from the media

????
Every major TV news show manages to give him free face time - even when the story was about Mr. Reagan or D-Day!

I see it as a refreshing break that gives us the opportunity to think of more nasty ways of making him look even more foolish than he can muster on his own.

This sounds crazy, but maybe he can actually spend some time on the Senate floor. You know, his job. The one we pay him for with our tax dollars.

1) Someone in his campaign was smart enough to figure out any money spent this week would be wasted. Nobody is interested in hate speech this week.

2) There is a higher than normal risk for him that he will say something stupid this week that would offend centrist voters.

It's a two fer win for him. As a politician, if you win by keeping your mouth shut, your career meter is close to empty..

Anything Ketchupman does this week would be lost because of Reagan taking preeminence--one last time for the Gipper!

Democrats briefly considered continuing the concerts without Kerry present, but ultimately decided that it would be unthinkable even to have associates hobnobbing with Hollywood celebrities while the nation mourns a former president.

Unlike the Paul Wellstone funeral/laughathon, or the Ron Brown "come out of the plane laughing and instantly switch to "mourning mode" at the sight of cameras."

Funerals are a photo-op for dems.

Hanoi John French Kerry gave his good friend Kommandante Daniel Ortega a phone call over the weekend so lament the passing of Reagan so long after Communism itself was laid on the ash heap of history when they'd both tried so hard to leave a legacy of the Port of Managua as a Soviet nuclear submarine base and aircraft carrier turning basin on the western coast of the United States.

As a fervent supporter of communist depots around the world, a proponent of the nuclear freeze & a viamant opponent of Reagan's policies, Hanoi John's first campaign for Senate in the 80's was specifically against all of Reagan's policies.

Kerry would maximize his chances this november by not doing any public appearances of any sort before 1 November. A week of smiling and shaking people's hands won't hurt and will remind people that there is another candidate. He shouldn't kiss any babies, though.

This week it is the passing of President Reagan but in actuality, his campaign revolves around his down time, any excuse will do, i.e., surgeries, vacations, his accidents or yet another staged photo-op in his latest "sports costume". He turns to sports to feed his ego and to pump up his self image as a tough guy. Ironically, out of the dozens of "impromptu" sports moments we've been bombarded with ad nauseum, almost all are individual events, he isn't a team player. Kerry has an air of entitlement but no feel for campaigning due in part to his arrogance but I believe he is in poor health and the endless stream of "jock" outtings is an attempt to deflect that impression.

I think everyone keeps turning him down!

I certainly do, every time I hear him on the radio.

Since he has some slack time to fill it's probably a good time for the botox booster shots.

He and his daughter have some crucial jockstrap shopping to do.

He might also want to take the time to help his daughter with the see-through dress to shop for some more alluring undergarments.
