There are plenty of "homosexual niche" advertisers. Some of them are major corporations that keep their kinky side out of the mainstream magazines.

The Commercial Closet

Guinness:

And then there are deliberately gay-vague ads like this one:

If Time Warner picks this channel up, I will be getting rid of my Time Warner cable.

That is the point of such niche marketing. There have been pro-same sex couple tv ads on American television but I would expect much more to be produced if there was a special channel for such messages.

"No comparison to the USA."

Try to keep up with all of the homosexual agenda threads.

I spent years on AOL arguing against so-called "gay Christians" and the gay rights agendas...so I doubt if anything you could post would surprise me.

I don't really have the time or desire to keep up with all the current "news" on this topic. It's depressing.

My point is that these people respresent a small fraction of the population. And I strongly disagree with people who claim they are representative of what America stands for these days.

"Gods and Monsters?" That is an excellent film, but why would a gay channel want to include it in their programming? The main character is an extremely negative stereotype of homosexuality. You'd think they'd want to portray gays as a little more mainstream than that.

"Logo?"

Is that the best these "creative" types can muster for their new network name?

Howzabout "Gay B C TV" or "Homo Box Office"?

But would God smite the entire country because of the activities of a minority?

That's the point. He didn't. Remember, "For the sake of ten I will not destroy it." BTW what some people don't realize was that while Sodom and Gomorrah were the major cities involved there every city on that plain got axed except for Zoar.

This was the context in which it was said "God to Sodom and Gomorrah, I apologize".

As I can name more then ten righteous people living in my city God would have nothing to apologize for. To suggest that He would is not very respectful to the Almighty.

Things are bad. But thankfully we still have a long way to slide before we reach Sodom and Gomorrah levels.

IMHO, the average person in America is fed up with the queers and fagots and their adgenda of death. They've pretty much been lobbing their BS at us with impunity. Now people are waking up and realizing how much damage these jerks are doing and they are saying STOP!

I think if folk would just take the opportunity to meet with homosexuals, they might find they are "better people" for having done so.

"In April of this year, Governor Bush began a dialogue with the gay and lesbian community. He reached out to our organization's leadership, and made it publicly clear that he has a vision of being a President for all Americans - black, white, Latino, men, women, gay and straight. That his vision of an inclusive Republican Party includes gay and lesbian Republicans. He told the American people that he is a "better man" for his dialogue with gay Americans.

(Though, it's true, the Republicans might want to rethink their overt preference for gays over lesbians ... even if true "inclusion" of homosexuals might mean Cheney's daughter, et al., draw some of the Second Stringer homosexuals over from the Dems ...

I am glad to be joined here today by Charles Francis, a longtime friend and supporter of Governor Bush, who organized this week's historic unity luncheon of gay Republicans here in Philadelphia. As I told Governor Bush when I met him in July, I look forward to working with Charles in continuing this dialogue, moving forward together with the Bush-Cheney campaign at all levels to advance our new Republican Party, a Party that puts the individual first, that unites people from all walks of life, and ensures a place at the table for gay Americans in a Bush Administration.

I am also pleased to be joined by gay Republican elected officials, such as Mayor Dan Stewart of Plattsburgh, NY; State Representative Steve May of Arizona, and Councilman Bill Schmidt of Peekskill, N.Y. We are joined by some of our openly gay delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention, and Log Cabin Club presidents who participated in today's vote.

We have a responsibility as an organization to build a relationship with the next President of the United States, and join Governor Bush in building a better America. Together, today, we have taken a step to ensure that this can happen."

Maybe now that they're "out and about" in the party of Compassionate Conservatism, the Log Cabin boys will rethink their "sexist" attitude toward norming homosexuality with the help of MTV and George W. Bush.
