They refuse to give their names? They are "self described" as anarchists?

"It's a victory just to have this event," protest organizer Kellie Gaznik said TuesdayTypical leftist thinking. It doesn't matter that the event was a failure. Just so long as someone shows up, it's a 'victory.'
Yo, Kellie, you aren't much of an organizer. You might want to look into a career change.

The "self described anarchist" kid is not really too bright.

What's with the masks? In my day, you do a protest, you got your face up front so everyone knew who you were. (easier to score w/the chicks/guys that way)
What are these kids afraid of?

I think I saw these kids in a movie once.
HOWEVER WHEN THEY MAKE THE NEW VERSION OF THE MOVIE, IT WILL BE "ANARCHIST WITHOUT A CAUSE"
To: radiohead
It is part of their costume. You can be sure they got the idea from someone else.

This may be the funniest thing I've read since the article on the Howard Dean volunteers...

i think its brilliant to have more of these summits and meetings in the south. if its in nyc, you can expect lots of protestors and support from the people. do it in the south, like atlanta, they'll confront some pretty annoyed 'hicks'. when i lived in nc, most wouldnt support this.

If you've noticed, the terrorists in Iraq and Gaza etc, wear these masks.

"It's a victory just to have this event," protest organizer Kellie Gaznik said Tuesday. "If we didn't have a place for people to do their art and make their statements, they would just walk around and maybe break things, which doesn't accomplish anything." It's a failure.

The patheticness of the protestors is a huge joke around town.
You can't swing a cat without hitting a police officer, police car, security person etc. But all the flashing lights, long strings of cars, etc have been quite entertaining. I have enjoyed waving at the guys in uniform.
Everyone (I MEAN EVERYONE) thinks the 'activitists' are a waste of skin. Dumber than a box of rocks and twice as rude. They are making way more enemies than friends down here in the South.
As a side, friend who works for the railroad had a bit a scare when walking down a rail line the other day (like 50 armed Spec Ops types jumping up and surrounding him). Scared him so bad he forgot he worked for the RR and had a badge.

I think the SCAD kids are out of town for the summer.
'sides, most of the ones I know aren't the protesty type.
Granted, the biggest activist in Savannah (that I know of) went on vacation starting Tuesday.
Southerners are extremely practical....even protests take a second seat to taking a vacation.

So the weather wasn't nice? I think that's the problem right there. No, the problem is that school is out for the summer. Protest attendance goes way up when it becomes a chance to skip out on school. It seems to become mandatory during finals week.

"This is what democracy looks like. That is what a police state looks like," shouted a few individuals waving black-and-red flags representing anarchy. Am I confused on the definition of anarchy? Doesn't it mean "absence of government" or, basically, "self-government"? Yes, I know most of these kids are really commies at heart, but both anarchists and communists should be opposed to democracy, shouldn't they?

I'm in Atlanta. The local news stations sent their reporters out in force to Sea Island. I was watching last night when an local anchor relayed to the reporter that protesters were complaining that they were not able to get their views out to the public. The reporter tried to give it a straight face but started smiling saying that there were 5 reporters for every protester. He was laughing that each reporter is begging for protesters to go on camera.
