SAN DIEGO (AP) - Late in the day, when most others have cleared the course of rolling hills and serene lakes, B. Birgit Koebke, golfs alone at her country club. If a group happens to be ahead of her, they no longer allow her to play through.

"I just sit there and wait," she says. "They've made it impossible for me to enjoy the club."

Koebke, a 47-year-old television sales executive, is a longtime member of the Bernardo Heights Country Club. She is also lesbian, and her extended drive to win club golfing privileges for her partner of 12 years, Kendall French, has left few members willing to play with her.

Koebke hopes the California Supreme Court will hear her argument that the state's civil rights laws should require the club to give French, her state-registered domestic partner, the same benefits given to spouses.

Remember the golf course in Agusta, GA. The club is for men only. They still do not admit women.

One caveat- Augusta's rules do not ban women as members. There is actually no provision in the club's rules mentioning the gender of members. Rather, the rules require that a potential member be nominated by an existing member and approved by a vote. No woman has been granted membership yet. Hootie something-or-other, the club's president, has publicly said that the club will eventually have female members, but that it will do so on its own schedule.

"To me, that's saying: 'Well, we want grandchildren to play, but for you two women, as a same-sex couple, we don't want you to play,'" French says.

I think she's got it.

A long time ago, I was approached about joining an exclusive club in NYC. It had a 3 year waiting list, but my friends assured me that I could get "special treatment".

I was very flattered, and toured the facility the next day.

The place, dripping with tradition and very elite, gave me the creeps. My friends were stunned when I told them thanks, but no thanks. I didn't want to join a place - even at their invitation - where it was clear I would feel out-of-place...in my case, because I am Jewish.

Why anyone would knowingly join a **private club** where they are likely to be a cause of awkwardness is a mystery to me.

"I just sit there and wait," she says. "They've made it impossible for me to enjoy the club."

This woman needs to grow up. The world does not revolve around her. She has the freedom to leave the club.

This is very interesting.

Yesday Rush was talking about the tremendous power homosexuals have over what media outlets get the big advertising dollars, because they are the execs in the companies that buy advertising. (Asd well as increasingly taking hold over professional organizations, schools and government bureacracies). It was from a Canadian article about the Feminarchy.
And here it is;
"Koebke, a 47-year-old television sales executive"!

I would like to know a lot more about this. Is the homosexual power groups in media that keep CNN blasting away in airports?

I know that big corporations now have Gay And Lesbian Whatever departments. I am grinding my teeth! How do they do it! Why do people give in to them, why do they hire them in these positions? What deluded cultish thinking makes these people get hired?

So not only is Koebke busy as hell directing the big advertising dollars to left-wing media, she's busting up a private golf club for herself and her perverted partner.

Somebody explain to me how they have gotten this power.

"I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members." - Groucho Marx.

I think I have a new tagline.

Like any other group that becomes powerful: organization and networking.

OK, here's a compromise. If they want to be treated like a married couple, one gets to play golf, the other screws the tennis pro.

Any relation?

No, maybe my question is why do people give in to them?

Lots of folks organize and network and never get anywhere.

"And I said, 'Well, Rosa Parks didn't get off the bus,'" Koebke recalls.

Rosa Parks also didn't demand a freaking chauffered limousine.

Yes, it has reached epidemic proportions, as has drug use among gays.

From a public health point of view, high rates of meth use among gay and bisexual men can create health complications that are fourfold. First, gay and bisexual men are already at high risk for HIV infection, due to high HIV/AIDS rates among men who have sex with other men (MSMs). Meth unfortunately has infiltrated a community already overwhelmed with this epidemic. In San Diego County the HIV/AIDS epidemic is particularly brutal. While MSMs make up 45 percent of all cumulative AIDS cases in the U.S. since 1981, they comprise 75 percent of all cumulative AIDS cases in San Diego County.

No problem. All the "ladies" need to do is find a couple of the club's eligible bachelor members and marry them. Voila! I now pronounce you member and spouse and member and spouse.

Next!
