Ronald Reagan’s Wish

America is crying now,
I hope it’s not for me.
I’ve gone home to be with the Lord,
It’s where I want to be.
He called me for my job is done,
Now I will take a rest.
The work was hard and took some time,
I know I did my best.
I hope these tears I see are joy,
Not sorrow or remorse.
My life was full, I lived it well,
The journey takes its course.
The best years are ahead of you,
So dwell not on the past.
Your work will keep the beacon strong,
A beacon that will last.
Please trust the Lord to guide your hand,
He led me all the way.
God’s Blessings for America,
Create a better day.
I’ll see you all some sunny morn,
There on that distant shore.
Our Shining City on a Hill,
Please weep for me no more.

NEVER FORGET

From beginning to end...
this has been...
the most unforgettable...
of weeks...
that even America's Children...
appreciate.

The future ahead is glowing...
because now many will ask...
.."Just what would RONNIE do?"..
when ever they come up against...
a Wall.

RONNIE gave all so that we would have it all...

...and that's OURSELVES.

He always reminded us that we were limited only by our vision and our desire to work hard.

Pretty simple thought, but one that many forget.

Some want others to provide for their needs while others want only to be allowed to provide for themselves. Reagan, you, and I are of the second group.

That is a beautiful poem. Our beloved President Reagan would prefer that we celebrate his life, rather than cry over his death.

"Your work will keep the beacon strong, A beacon that will last." -- CG

Margaret Thatcher said -- "We here still move in twilight. But we have one beacon to guide us that Ronald Reagan never had. We have his example."

"Some want others to provide for their needs while others want only to be allowed to provide for themselves. Reagan, you, and I are of the second group."

Minor correction needed:
Some want others to provide for their needs while others want only to be allowed to provide for themselves and the ones they love. Reagan, you, and I are of the second group.

And Reagan's heart was big enongh to have love, and prayers, for everyone, including John Hinckley, the man who shot him.

I was always a conservative, which often was a lonely thing. But he helped me see that I was not alone. He spoke what I thought, which helped me speak it too. In that sense, through you and me he will continue!

God Bless President Bush
and protect and guide him at this
time in history for the forces of
evil are waging war on America.

How lucky we are that our President
was a young man in the Reagan White House.

I felt that too! I cannot believe that there is a graphic of the same thought. One cannot help to see Mrs. Reagan stand and wave in that manner without remembering her beloved husband standing at her side. Thanks for posting.

Did you create this beautiful graphic?

Thank you for such a wonderful compliment. Yes, I did creat that graphic, and a few others that seemed to just flow from the picutures to my hands. I am glad you got as much enjoyment out of it as much as I did.
