We know the Left and the Saudis tried pulling the same stunt recently;

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1129173/posts

The man behind the previous attempt, who got 50 former diplomats, btw, was one Andrew Killgore. A noted anti-semite who works for a Saudi front group.

The story was largely quashed after Killgore's history of anti-semitism got noticed - though the press refuses to look into connections to the House of Saud - as is true of Joe Wilson I might add.

So the question becomes, who in this new attempt is the Saudi stooge coordinating it all?

Bill Gertz, BREAKDOWN: How America's Intelligence Failures Led to September 11, Regnery, 2002, page 63:

Turner, who had no professional experience with intelligence, decided to cut 820 positions within the CIA Operations Directorate. The cuts were announced in impersonal notices sent out on Halloween--October 31, 1977. "It has been decided that your services are no longer needed," the termination notes stated. For the Clandestine Service, the cuts were a blow from which it never recovered. Every director of Central Intelligence since then has tried in vain to "rebuild" the operational capability of the CIA.

President Bush opposed by such incompetent quislings who caused 911--QED his re-election is crucial for the Republic.

These guys bascially are a bunch of Losers who certainly don't have their countries best interest at heart.
They may have a lot of brass between them but they should know better.

Ah, yes, the RIF in Operations. Single biggest screwup in recent intel history.

But thats Bush's fault, right lefties? Or is it Rumsfeld's? Or Rice's? /sarcasm off/

"Among the group are 20 ambassadors,..."

Did the AP mention that "20 former ambassadors" includes less than 2% of the total number of "former ambassadors?" No.

Be sure to tell your families that once again, AP got caught in a dishonest story.

Can't help noticing that this bunch of appeasers and malcontents were on duty while the terrorists storm clouds gathered. Had they done a better job instead of sipping tea or cocktails with thugs and tinhorn despots Al-Queda might have been stopped long before 9-11.
