Good luck - pithy is hard.

As RONNIE REAGAN always said during his own Radio Shows: "Thanks for Listening..!!"

What an honor it was to personally thank MICHAEL REAGAN, and the entire REAGAN Family as well, for their following RONNIE REAGAN's example last week with their giving us all that they had...

so that we would have it all...

...and that's OURSELVES.

MICHAEL REAGAN appreciated Randall Wallace's inspiring "WE WERE SOLDIERS" Hymn 'Mansions of the Lord' being sung at the end of his Father's Washington, D.C. Funeral Service. Being a Veteran of the Vietnam Battle depicted in that MEL GIBSON-Starred Motion Picture it was of deep meaning to me also.

To hear 'Mansions of the Lord' go to the last Music Selection of:

Good luck - pithy is hard.

Actually, Pithy can be soft, dehydrated, spoiled. Reminds me of the farmer who was looking over his crop of turnips and said "these turnips sure are pithy". A gopher watching pipes up "Should be, I just pithed on them".

I'm sure I'll leave out some of the details, but basically it was the fault of the driver who took them from Andrews to the Capitol. It was all scripted out for them how everyone was supposed to get where they belonged, and part of it was when the procession came to the capitol, all the cars with the family members were supposed to make a right turn and go around to the back of the building, and the cassion and the limo with Nancy were to go to the West entrance to go up the main stairs. His driver decided he needed to follow the cassion and Nancy and not make the turn. The SS agents and the family in the back were all yelling at him, but he said he was supposed to follow the car in front of him. The SS finally got him to turn on another street, and guided him to the back where he was supposed to be, but the family was already inside. Then, as they were bringing Mike and his family inside, they ended up assuming they was just 'generic' family members and brought them to an upstairs room to watch the service on the monitor. He and the SS finally got them straightened out, and they made their way into the main rotunda area, but by that time Nancy's brother and his wife had moved into the seats next to Ron and Patty, so Mike and his family just ended up standing up in the back row.

Long story short, it was just a snafu, one of the times that things didn't go as smoothly as they should have (but the public wasn't aware of, because it was transparent to us), but it was certainly not a snub or slight from Nancy and her kids.

I was relieved to hear that too!
What did Mike say about the limo driver?
Some thing like "The driver must have been
one of the guys who stand on a street corner
with sign saying "will drive for food.""

I wish we could get him in Chicago, the Talk Radio Wasteland.

Of national hosts, we have Rush, Hannity on 5-hour tape delay, and 1 hour of Hugh Hewitt. (Except for Goofy Old Joe Radio1530, whose program schedule changes about 3 times every week.)

Thanks for the ping, Ronnie. Well done ...again. Pays to have friends in High places. (^:

Michael Reagan was so courageous, lovingly open, speaking at his father's service. Faith in action.

...Actually my getting on with MICHAEL REAGAN today was definately all in GOD's plan.

...Just got up from a nap and there was a piece about MICHAEL REAGAN's show being on on DRUDGE ...so I called right in. We don't hear him in the Los Angeles area so I got to hear his entire 1st hour this way on the phone as I was the last call MICHAEL took that hour.

...MICHAEL shared how he thought about what he was going to say at the Reagan Library all the way back on Air Force One. When he landed, his Radio Talk Show Host Friend MARK LARSON called him and asked him just to tell us about REAGAN the Spiritual Man in his Funeral Speech.

...And so MICHAEL glowingly did ...again for us all.

UNFORGETTABLE.
