I served on Reagan's committees to select his delegates to three national conventions. You are no Reagan. You are no conservative.

And you still haven't documented your claim that the U.S. government spends $38 Billion matching money that is sent to Latin America.

You got that factoid from some source that you refuse to disclose. It's a complete lie of the type used to incite low IQ racists to violence.

Ronald Reagan
October 30, 1984

"Today we're part of a coalition of people who share some values that are traditional to America. Whether our forefathers and mothers came here from a Latin country, or from Africa, or from Asia, or from Europe -- in my case, I guess it's Europe, Ireland and England -- we hold dear those ideas that brought our forebears here. We're bound together by a love of family and neighborhood and a respect for God. We believe in hard work and peace through strength. And these are not Republican values, these are American.
Our opponents don't seem to see things this way. They view our country not as people of varied backgrounds who share common values and aspirations; instead, they see us as warring factions and interest groups. They try to divide us, using envy, and playing people off against each other by telling us we're competing for a piece of a pie that is ever getting smaller. Well, that's not our way. We don't see people as members of this group or that; we see them as Americans, with all the rights and opportunities that go with being American."

"Gee buddy, lighten up."

A racist campaign associated with a Republican Congressman is nothing to lighten up about.

I remember how much damage Buchanan's speech at the 1988 national convention did to the Republican party. This racism has to be quashed in the beginning and Congressman Tancredo needs to be reigned in or thrown out.

Loose cannons are dangerous. He and his supporters need to be exposed for what they are.

Wow, talk about getting your panties in a bunch....LOL.
Well, where to begin.....

Let me lay a little religion on ya baby.......;)

"More than Federal, illegal immigrnts are a local problem".

That is a totally dumb statement. We have these silly things here in the US called "Borders"....perhaps you've never heard of them. Well, a very large part of the Presidents duties are in fact upholding the laws and declarations of our Constitution. You know, that silly rag you'd like to do away with. Well, in this Constitution it states that it's the FEDERAL governments job to "protect our borders from invaders". Damn, sorry to rain on your parade, there partner....

You're spewing so much bilge at once I'm gonna have to get my hip wader boots on here.

"Posse Commitatis"....nice try. I would actually prefer that the "Homeland insecurity Department" beef up border security like they've been mandated to do.....funny though...GWB hasn't given them enough money to buy a pencil sharpner so I can'y see that happening anytime soon. Building a ring of smaller military bases around the perimiter of the Continental US is actually a very do-able thing, and would provide a deterrant to illegals......as well as boost the local economies in smaller rural areas of the US
Sorry if you don't like to hear the truth about "hispandering"....but ole Tom Ridge said we cannot seal our borders between legal crossings because of "political and cultural" reasons.....LOl....put that in your pipe and smoke it buddy :)

Actually, my idea of Utopia is to have a Commander in chief who is not into "selective law enforcement". Just having him actually obey the rules and laws of our Constitution (yea, I know you hate that ole piece of fish-wrapper) would be a tremendous start. Having LEGAL, measured immigration would also be a plus too. You want to come to the US, well, fine, either secure a job BEFORE you get her, or find a sponsor.

States rights? You're joking right? Well, right there, you demonstrated that you actually DO NOT know what the heck you're talking about. What do you want, a bunch of rent-a cops "protecting" our borders, or Billy-bob-joe-pig-%$*@$ers with .22 cal rifles stomping around the woods?

Bigoted, well, if you mean "pro-American", yep, guilty as charged. Keep drinkin' the Kool-aid......you're vision will start to blur and you'll be out of your misery soon.......

Ciao

"immigrants"....he, he, he.....nice try. Time for you to move over to the DU board now Johnny........

I have absolutely NO problem with LEGAL immigrants coming to the US in a LEGAL manner. You sure you're not a Dumacrat? LOL
It's the ILLEGAL trespassers, i have a problem with.

Time to go back to "reading 101", ok?

.....oh yea, about your tech school slag. Well, I'd rather see an AMERICAN kid who graduated from Tech high school get a legal, legit job in his or her chosen trade, than some criminal who slithered across our borders ILLEGALLY.

Again, it seems you would much rather erode our tax base, and pander to illegals. To each his own, I suppose.....

I re-read my post. Nowhere did I mention a "guaranteed ticket to a nice middle class life"

I always get a kick out of morons who put words into other peoples mouths.....or severely misinterpet things.

Time to get back on your meds now. It seems like you're slipping in and out of reality....the way you attribute what YOU wrote, to my posts...

I find it humerous that you defend the Assault Weapons Ban on the basis of "we don't want the terrorists to have assault weapons", but have an issue with people who would like to secure the borders to prevent terrorism.

What does taxing monetary transactions have to do with securing our borders.

It's about as dumb as saying that increasing ATM fees will prevent people from working to earn money to put into their bank accounts.

This is a not very well disguised racist attack on Mexicans. Sort of like the KKK advocating a special tax on watermelons and fried chicken.

It really WOULD help if only you knew what you were talking about;which you don't.And,FWIW...FREEPmail is NOT set up for the purpose of sending more refutations( qwhich you really missed by a mile with)and your CV,which doesn't prove a thing;especially not in your case.Bwesides being boring and insubstancial, your massive missive was besides the case and not worthy of a reply.

Go reread my post and let it sink in.Certain states and locals, thwart the federal govwernment and the INS.I know,I know, you want the president to send in the troops against them. That would cause more problems than you could imagine.I think that something should be done too;however, there'd be a civil war.

Your reply is is odd. I re-read all my posts and I've never once stated that I wanted the Federal troops to go up against the INS (no such thing anymore) or States.
Perhaps you have me confused with someone else.
