Poll: Voters Warming Fast to Bush Economy!
Ipsos-AP ^ | 11 June 2004 | Ipsos-AP

Posted on 06/15/2004 10:24:37 AM PDT by GarnetGirl04

While Democrats and the lib media is rushing to spin the news as "voters don't give Bush credit for jobs," a recent AP-Ipsos poll shows that voters are FAST changing their minds, giving credit to Bush!

Skip the spin, and check out the real data. (At page 4)

On 5/7/2004, 43% of respondents approved of Bush's handling of the economy, while 55% disapproved. But on 6/11/2004, 47% aproved, 50% disapproved. That's a net nine percent increase! I guess that a month of positive jobs reports and other great economic news is having its effect, in spite of the Dems!

This is exactly what JF Kerry did not want to hear right now.

Actually, most of the inflation occuring in the economy is due to gas prices. The core price index remained relatively muted in April. Prices rose a more subdued 0.2% on nearly everything else in April. Inflation is beginning to be as overhyped this year as DEFLATION was being overhyped in the media last year. And again, most of it is due to gas prices which are now starting to come down. Watch inflation numbers drop significantly in May as a result.

Anyway, look to the media and their Democratic allies to talk down the economy RIGHT THROUGH ELECTION DAY, even though it is quite likely that come election day, Bush will have a significantly lower unemployment rate than Clinton did on re-election day in Nov. 1996.

. . . the poll gleaned the results you cited despite oversampling Democrats by 7 points:
Democrats -- 49% of sample
Republicans -- 42% of sample

Kerry is rapidly being dismantled by the FORSIGHTED RNC plan. And I don't mean campaign plan.I mean a plan to RUN THE FREAKING GOVT. in a straightforward and conservative way . Get andything done inside the beltway and you will be noted as a hard worker.Take on the Islamikazis, ENRON jerks, high taxes, flagging economy, French and German backstabbers, UN nerdowells, all at once AND SUCCEED at all of it, and you will earn a warm and fuzzy place in our nations history. LONG LIVE THE CONSERVATIVE REVOLUTION!!!!!LONG LIVE GWB!!!! GOD Bless RONALD W. REAGAN and his family!!!!

Obviously Fox must have hired lately by scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Others possibly went ahead earlier and hired balanced journalists.
How else can it be that they come up now with doomsday economic news forecasts.

Exactly, and this isn't the only poll oversampling Democrats. Heard on Rush this morning that the LA Times poll which has Kerry up by 6, had 38% Dem to 25% Pubbie (went to the LA Times web site to verify, but stop short of registering).

I am still maintaining that unless some big event shakes up this election Bush will win handily.

I also heard Cavuto's group discussing the fact that it takes 2-3 months for the public to catch up to the changes taking place in the economy. Since there are good changes happening every month, I expect in a couple of months (just in time for the repub convention), the public will be well aware of what the tax cuts did for the economy, and will be telling their congresspeople to make the cuts permanent.

It's astounding that an economy that's been hitting numbers not seen for two decades is still being passed off as "bad."
