All of my girlfriends seem to understand the concept. I've heard others may have difficul...
Uh, oh. I get it now. My apologies - in advance...
One of these days, the trial lawyers will begin suing automakers for making dangerous high horse powered cars... just wait and see...
LOL...oh please. The poor man's wannabe Bentley can't touch my 735i [cause if it could my ego'd be shot].
Best under 60K sedan in my book is the Audi S-4 manual tranny.
I rode in one my little brother test drove yesterday.
( I drive a Land Rover so take it easy on me, I'm always broke )
Time for a trade....
Oh, now they are going to build a tough truck? I guess all those Ram Tough ads in the past were just pulling our leg, huh?
My one and only Dodge truck cured me of ever owning a 2nd. When you claim to be tough, make your transmissions hold up for a few weeks, ok? We been making automatics for nearly 3/4 of a century. It's not rocket science.
We still have an '85 1 ton 4x4 and I would buy one of these in a heartbeat.
That Dodge is far and away the best truck we ever owned and we've had them all.
Who cares??!! My kids are grown and I enjoy driving expensive, fast cars. The cost of gas is not an issue when you're going 110mph and you're only at 3.0 on the tach.
just gimme that drive train, I'll wrap something sweet around it!!

The Bmw 750il comes in at 6.8 but I bet she has a higher topper...somewhere north of 155 (are they governed here?)
Both damned nice cars...
I'd go for the AMG55 myself....76K.....twice the price of the 300C....is it worth it?....I doubt it.
Can I afford one?....lol....4 kids, child support, private school, stay at home wife-mom....anybody care to venture a guess?
I confess I also like the Cayenne Turbos....sad so sad.
The Dodge's have the best interior for a truck. Chevy is a little cheap, the f-150s wrap around so your knees hit the dash. Rams just have that flat dash like a truck ought to be...and enough headroom for a Stetson.
Great! A 500 horsepower engine that gulps gasoline like college kids gulp beer. About 9 mpg going down a long hill. LOL, LOL, LOL !
I like all trucks. My FIL is a mopar man.
I would lean towards a Dodge Dooley 4-door but I do like Ford's TurboDiesel (Powerstroke).
Oh...well...dreaming for now. I've got a 95 Green Disco with 130K (and a new set of EMU shocks and springs and Dunlop MudRovers...I want to be buried in with the Bonnie Blue facing Miss) 94 Grand Cherokee limited black with 200K but quite cherry...hate to dump it.
Better half is still in the 00 ML320, but I think we may move her into something newer and sexier.
Just not "saucy"...please. The disco is a trooper - that's a classic truck. I'd like to lift the bronc - i've considered old man emus. When the cash flow comes in, the truck gets jacked up!
Now, I'll take the Viper V10 and drop it in a real Chevy or even a Ford pickup truck, no problems there.
85 still used a torqueflite, no? That's a fair tranny. My 98 has a breakomatic. I just spent 2 grand having one built right. Maybe this one will last.
Dodge used cheap nylon and plastic where they shoulda used metal, and they skimped on friction plates, and did a host of other shoddy cost cutting on their trannies. This guy used the right parts, and added frictions, used a pump from a deisel tranny, and a mild shift kit.
Now I just have to stop the front axel seals and the timing cover from leaking, and maybe I'll have a truck. lol
BTW, I heard that Benz fired all the middle management that was responsible for the crap trannies they put in their trucks during the 90s. Is that so?
emus gave me about 5 inches (ok....i know what's coming)
I plan to do an ARB/winch which will bring it down.
I doubt I'll ever sell it unless I get an older Classic or Series model.
The Dunlop Mud Rovers which are about 1/2 the price of Goodrich Mud Terrains are great....not as great but over 80%.
