Two counterpoints:
1. Hitler may have been establishing a Reich based on the occult, but his support was from Christian Germans. Know your history - the men fighting in the Wehrmacht weren't a bunch of wizards and witches, but rather "good Christians" who'd been brainwashed by Hitler's siren song of Master Race and World Domination.
2. I don't know why you brought the Bible into this conversation, but I do know that the Old Testament has numerous references to archaic, violent solutions to events that have far more civil solutions today. Unless you too advocate stoning women who are pregnant out of wedlock or the other numerous examples of a thankfully-unused system of 'justice'. Fortunately, Christianity experienced a Reformation, thanks to men like Martin Luther. Islam is 500 years behind in this regard.
I have not read the Koran and have zero intentions of wasting my time doing so.
According to my math, if SA supplies 22% of our oil and gas is $2.00/gal., I think gas would rise to less than $2.50/gal. without them. Seems like a fair trade to me. If the royals should fall, so what?! We go over, drive populations away from the oilfields and turn the spigots on full tilt. The extra oil will bring down prices and pay for the operation. Real simple.
We have continuous prayer for our troops, but we should also have calls for continuous prayer for the civilian workers overseas...
