...and you mine!
You watch CBS, WalMart wants to get its ads in front of you, so they put them on CBS. You're talking about the ads, so that's what they want. You support CBS by making their ads effective simply by watching. If you complain to your local CBS affiliate, the advertising salesmarketing manager will include your complaint call in statistics he/she uses to attract advertisers. If you complain to WalMart, they'll also count the stat for the effectiveness of the ad on CBS. That's just the way it is. The only way to counter it is to not watch CBS, and not patronize any advertiser.....you do practice what you preach and avoid Evil Wallyworld, don't you?
And back off the hyperbole, please. I didn't imply that you had to ask permission to watch anything, just pointing out the obvious, which apparently grabbed your goat.
I think you mean practice what YOU preach and no I dont have a problem with Wallyword and its cheap prices, I was just there this morning and saved lots on catfood and dogfood. Do you think they will know ? Forget your obvious bias towards anything you dont agree with but I enjoy saving money and not keeping a hate list of who not to patronize. What I was referring to originally was the fact that CBS was biased in their news reporting and the fact that WALLMART was patronizing their shows/opinions by spending their money supporting such broadcasts. No need to reply as we are talking about different things .
