Reuter's message: Let's withdraw, let's run away from the terrorists, maybe then they won't kill any more Americans.

But we must remember this:

We can fight now in Iraq, or we can surrender and let them kill us right here in the US -- by the thousands.

We don't need to do these ba$tards in. Follow them, quietly. When they start setting up their next photo-op for the terrorists, wipe out the terrorists. Then let someone leak that the newscrew told us what to do to stop the intended massacre.

The beauty of this is twofold:

(1) We get confirmation of the newsies' dirty hands.

(2) The terrorists will take care of the dirty work.

I would think - that is, if I didn't know better - that they were trying to scare and demoralize our troops.

Can these media dogs be penalized yet? What does it take, anyway?

The American public needs to see the truth about war, so we can learn to deal with it correctly like we did back in WWII.

Gov't rules prohibited the display of US war dead until 1944.

We need to see this stuff. Show us everything. Show us the people turned into tomatoes
from jumping out of the World Trade Center towers. Show both sides of everything,
so America can understand what this war is all about.

Who owns and/or sponsors Reuters?

I saw on a FR thread that
Reuters is owned by an Arab.

Is Reuters run by an Islamic?

CEO? President? True? I dunno.

I'm dumbfounded too.
They were spared the brutal and awful intolerable brutality of wearing panties on their heads.

Do the Geneva Conventions spelling out in so much detail the "humane" treatment of prisoners mention that you got to have any?
Just wondering.

Personally, I wish every available image was posted. For me, you see, it only hardens my assesment of the sandmaggots we're fighting. Not entirely a bad tghing. Know your enemy.

Insurgents took witnesses to the scene of the attack, a building site in Ramadi, west of Baghdad. The bloodied bodies of the four soldiers were sprawled on the ground, surrounded by scattered equipment and belongings.

It was unclear when they had died. They were not wearing the helmets or body armor routinely worn by U.S. troops on alert.

Are these combat deaths or murdered prisoners?

Ask CNN where was their footage of dead Americans on 9-11. They will say that they had too much respect for the dead and their families to show that. They loathe the military; there is no double standard.

The Islamonazis are reported as claiming they captured 4 and killed 4. If these men have no armor and have no helmets (on the dead bodies), the Islamonazis probably captured 8 prisoners and killed 4 of them. That is a war crime.

Don't expect to hear Michael Moore calling "his side" villains.

(April 14, 2004): The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not "insurgents" or "terrorists" or "The Enemy." They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?....I oppose the U.N. or anyone else risking the lives of their citizens to extract us from our debacle...the majority of Americans supported this war once it began and, sadly, that majority must now sacrifice their children until enough blood has been let that maybe -- just maybe -- God and the Iraqi people will forgive us in the end.

Dumbfounded?  Why?  Nothing surprises me from Rueters or the AP or any of the mainstream media.  They are terrorists as well as the militants they protect and glorify to the joyous left.

NEWS RELEASE
HEADQUARTERS UNITED STATES CENTRAL COMMAND
\June 3, 2004
Release Number: 04-06-09

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

COALITION SOLDIERS QUESTION NEWS MEDIA FOLLOWING ROADSIDE BOMB

MOSUL, Iraq - Coalition soldiers questioned two news media cameramen and a reporter after a roadside bomb exploded near a Coalition convoy two kilometers north of Mosul June 3.

The media, who were at the scene prior to the attack, told soldiers at the scene they had received a tip to be at that location prior to the attack and they had witnessed the explosion.

There was minimal damage to a Coalition vehicle, a cracked windshield, and no serious injuries.

3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division soldiers requested the media accompany them to a base camp in Mosul to answer questions as witnesses to the incident. The news media representatives left the base camp in the mid afternoon.

http://www.centcom.mil/CENTCOMNews/News_Release.asp?NewsRelease=20040609.txt

They knew about the attack and they said nothing to anyone.  They just set up the cameras.  They have knowingly conspired to help terrorsts kill our troops and should be charged with attempted murder.

In 1944, after the in November 1943 Tarawa bloodbath where almost 1,000 Marines died in a 76 hour battle for an atoll smaller than New York's Central Park, there was a great dispute over whether or not to show the gruesome color film shot by combat cameramen of dead Marines floating in the lagoon of Betio, their bloated, rapidly decomposing corpses turning black in the hot equatorial sun and piled in ragged heaps on the beach. It was feared that the hideous sights would damage home front morale too much. The decision was made by President Roosevelt to release the film and trust that this would impress upon the public the gravity of the maelstrom that their sons were being flung into. The decision was correct. War bond sales skyrocketed after the release of the film, and war production soared as the American people realized that their support for the war effort would help to return their men with victory in hand that much sooner. While our forces in Iraq embody the same sort of heroism and devotion to duty as their predecessors, I wonder if the present day home front is made up of the same stern stuff as its antecedent. I certainly hope so and time will tell.

You got a point about that. But almost everyone in today's society has been infected with political correctness to some degree or other. PC is the intellectual scourge of our time now that classical Marxism is dead. PC is nothing more than economic Marxism translated into cultural terms.

I don't know but I have observed that Reuters is very much anti-American and anti-Bush. No real surprise there. I rather suspect that Reuters is also p.o.'d about not being able to show our American soldiers caskets being transported per Viet Nam era style. Reuters is one the worst about biased/slanted coverage as it pertains to America and its war on terror. I usually try to avoid reading anything they print.

D@mmit, people! We don't lump all Christians in with the clinic-bombing fundamentalist fringe, so why are you associating all Muslims with a few jihadists? It's borderline racist, at best. Religion is a convenient war-cry, and has been ursurped and misused as a pretext for war by followers of Islam, Judaism, and . . . Christianity alike. Evidently, war and destruction are human nature, regardless of religious affiliation . . .

You may call it whatever you like, but don't be surprised when your freindly neighborhood truck driver/bridge bomber or the local hero soccer team/jihad camp graduates show up on the front pages of the newspapers after being caught planning to kill as many Americans as they can.
(run-on sentence...mea culpa)

My war cry is "American Semper Fi" and I'm sure not in the mood to gather in the "healing circle" and sing Kumbaya.
The apologist crybabies in this country are going to "understand" us right into extinction.

I'm neither an apologist nor a crybaby, and 'Kumbaya' makes me want to punch people in the head. My point was, and is, that it is utterly illogical to lump all members of any faith, nationality, military branch, etc., in with the actions of a few. What sucks is that the actions of a few result in suffering for many--families of dead Marines included.

And I, sir or madam, am not a borderline racist. I am sick unto death of the "understanding" that we all are now supposed to show the Muslim community. The rights of the few trampling on the rights of the majority. Not the American Way, is it?
This is the attitude that continually hamstrings our military officers. This is the mindset that allows Muslim culture to be taught in public schools. This is the arrogance that allows the mosque bullhorn call to prayer in a Detroit neighborhood 5 times a day. Enough already!

Funny, I don't see them at my Sunday Mass, trying to "understand" me.
