Pray For The Korean. It's Now Sunset in Iraq. The Vermin Have Threatened to Kill Him.

It is 8:15 p.m. now, local, in Iraq. Sunset in Baghdad slated for 8:16 p.m. (12:16 p.m. Eastern Time Monday).

The poor South Korean captive in Iraq, Mr. Kim, may well meet a terrible fate at this moment. Please pray that these radical Islamist uncivilized animals are overwhelmed somehow by Divine Force, or hopefully; by US Marines or special forces (who would also be a divine force in this case).

Watching and waiting and hoping.......

I've been watching it for days. Makes me ill.

It's gonna continue unless/until we play hard-ball.

Don't watch the clip of the poor man talking unless you can hold it together emotionally. It's heart-breaking.

I pray to God for the poor Korean, that he will not be slaughtered by the savages that are holding him captive. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Sending prayers to him and his family

These pig terrorists are not going to let him live even if South Korea pulled their people out of Iraq

I actually screwed up and saw the tape this morning.

I've been alternating praying and crying.

My guess is that he's already dead so better to pray for his soul than his life.

Fallujah.

Why does this not surprise me.

Satanists is a very appropriate moniker for these creatures - because they sure are not human.

(I have taken to turning the news off the TV when my daughter is home..........and school is now out for the summer which is why I was unaware.)

I heard on FNC this AM that as many as a dozen might also be held; they haven't mentioned it again.

Hope this doesn't turn out even worse than we expect.

Having worked with the ROK Marines in Viet Nam in '69,
they are people you definitely do not want to mess with.

If the Iranians think they have problems now with America,
they can look forward to all manner of hell if they piss off the Koreans!!!

Dang... That picture along with what I've read reminds me of the incredibly vast differences among the terrorists and the rest of the world.

Here we have an educated young man, someone who can contribute to the world. His captors... maddrassa brainwashed animals bent on savagery. I wish we could all wake up to the fact that we are GOD's children and that in 2004 we should live like it. Athiests.. minimally we are all human beings, all sons and daughters, all neighbors...

I do pray for Mr. Kim Sun il, and his family. My cynical side tells me that the terrorists decided his fate the day they took him.

It was about this time Friday when word of Mr. Johnson's murder was being released.

We can only hope and pray the same isn't true today.

If he is killed, Al Jazeera is an accomplice in the murder. Without them airing the tape, there would be no incentive for the murder to be carried out. Al Jazeera allows these terrorists to get their messages out and virtually guarantees the deaths of these hostages.

How do people keep getting taken hostage. No way would they take me hostage now. They'd have to shoot me first. Why would somebody let themselves be taken hostage if they know their head is going to get cut off anyway. Why not die fighting.

God help this man!

It must be more than horrible, for this man, to contemplate what's going to be taking place, if he isn't rescued.

My guess is this mans death will make them mad and they will be inclined to hit back.

I agree. I've been to South Korea twice, and my impression is that the Koreans are a very proud, patriotic, and determined people, unlike the spineless continental Europeans. If these animals are foolish enough to behead this poor soul, I think they will be making a mistake they'll seriously regret.
