We've got more than enough home-grown scumbags why import more? You must be some kind of masochist that loves seeing an ever increasing share of your tax $ going to those who've latched onto our system instead of building a stable economic future for our children. For the life of me I can't figure out the alleged logic of lavishing benefit after benefit on these illegals that comes from our tax $ then we turn around and have to borrow tons of $ for infrastructure such as schools, roads, water systems, etc. The stupidity of it all is astounding.

It seems to me you are trying to attach the terrorist label to your issue of illegal immigrants. They are not the same issue. I think your connections are misguided.

If an illegal breaks into any house and violates someone living there haven't they been in effect...."terrorized"? You seem to think that terrorism can only occur when there's mass casualties like 9-11. Add up one years worth of human toll in a place like LA with drive-by's, murders, rape, etc. by illegals and I'm quite sure it'll exceed the tragedy of 9-11.

Also, after having had a family member of mine assaulted by a gang of Mexicans I can assure you what he was feeling at that moment wasn't exactly compassionate conservatism.... IT WAS TERROR!

I didn't say I was pro-illegal immigration. I said I was sick and tired of the "close the borders" crap on this Web site. Complaining and whining, whining and complaining, never offering a solution.

If Bush did something, these same people would be complaining about the money, or complaining resources were being taken away from the war on terror (my complaint now), etc.

According to this article today on Frontpagemag.com, some Jews favor open borders as a way to "de-christianize" America --- i.e. to dilute the influence and relative size of evangelical christians especially. I can't believe this is Michael Medved's motive --- in fact, I would hope he might change his tune precisely because he FEARS the de-christianizing of America.
