I just wish the term "homicide bomber" had not caught on. Practically all bombers are homicide bombers. I think the Bush administration didn't like the term "suicide bomber" because of the slight possibility of its implying some modicum of bravery. I still think that "suicide bomber" is more useful, since it distinguishes these bombers from other bombers.

If this were treated as a real war, we would have announced the Bradley as "heavily damaged" and the crew killed. Then these "militants" would spend the next three months impaling themselves on Bradleys all over Iraq.
