While of course not condoning ANY of these deviant behaviors, it would seem to me that by removing them from the category of mental ILLNESS that it would make it much easier for law enforcement to seek harsher sentences for such persons when the law is broken, since they may no longer hide behind their "Illness" from the law.......pedophilia comes to mind immediately.

I thought the same thing when I saw the words "healthy prehomosexuality?" Homosexuality is uniformly unhealthy. One who practices homosexuality will die years ahead of a heterosexual. On average, homosexuals live around 20-25 yeras less than heterosexuals. And they are far more likely to contract AIDS. The CDC says that 50% homosexual men will ultimately contract HIV. They are at a far higher risk of anal cancer, as compared to smokers. The list goes on and on.
