Which begs the question, why don't we know whether or not we killed the bad guy honcho himself?

Dunno - maybe it takes a while to sift through the remains and sort them out to identifiable pieces?

Maybe he is in VERY small and unrecognizable pieces?

Is it just me, or does anybody else think that homing devices should be implanted in Americans in Iraq and Saudi. Any thoughts?

As soon as the enemy knows about the devices, they would be cut out of the people who have them implanted.

This follows another barbaric murder of a civilian. Was the last safe house bombing also following a barbaric murder of a civilian? Is this a trend?

Perhaps the jihadists would appreciate the image of a beheaded al Zarqawi with a pig's head sewn onto his newly-hollowed neck. The carcass could be videotaped, photographed, and preserved for all posterity.

Actually, it would make an interesting US first-class postage stamp and a banner to be flown at UN headquarters and embassies and communities around the world......

"I heard the last wedding we hit had 20 minutes of secondary explosions after all the wedding guest and kids were blowed up."

Now that's a great response! Hope it's true this time too.

I can't wait till we start practicing the "Sacred art of packing smart bombs with Pig's blood". This sacred lost art should be re-instituted as soon as possible.

An air strike is how we zapped the house, but if we know 4 were killed, doesn't it seem most likely we have checked it out on the ground? Which begs the question, why don't we know whether or not we killed the bad guy honcho himself?

Depends on how badly mangled the bodies are. Very badly I would think. An air strike doesn't leave neat corpses.
