While the rest of the "civilized world" rejects the death penalty, they don't take into consideration that there are people out there who are more than happy to spend the rest of their lives in American prisons as long as their long-range goals are accomplished. Orifices like Mullah Omar will gladly eat crappy prison food and wear an orange jumpsuit until they die a natural death behind bars as long as they can someday look at the TV in the rec room and see the glorious vision of Americans being burned, buried alive, and/or blown to smithereens in the name of Allah.
