I thought ya'll might want to pass this along to your Democrat friends who screech that Bush lied about an Iraq-al Qaeda connection.

The Weekly Standard also does a good job of documenting the Clinton administration's links:

The Clinton administration kept this information from us even though they were being criticized for bombing a pharmaceutical plant.

Remember there was high skepticism about the pharmaceutical plant as a military target.

"I assume it will have a "Digital Brownshirt" filter."

Indeed. It's too bad, however, that liberals haven't yet invented a Digital Idiot filter for themselves.

It looks like we're engaged in a battle of semantics. What does it mean to be "linked"? What does it mean to have a "collaborative relationship"? If Saddam's govt. met with Al Qaeda but never agreed to work together what does that mean?

Does the U.S. have a collaborative relationship with terrorists since we have links to Saudi Arabia which has funded Al Qaeda?

FoxNews was showing archive video of Gore in 1992 bitching that Bush Sr. wasn't doing enough against al-Qaeda, who was operating with in Iraq with their cooperation. Al Gore stepped into it big time and the attempted media blackout isn't working. The NYT was reporting this on their front page this morning, which is a huge happy surprise to me. Maybe they're starting to get the message.

Here is the link to the Clinton Justice Department indictment in federal court of Osama bin Laden which specifically mentions the terrorist's connections to Saddam (third paragraph from the end).
