That saucy Dennis Miller still plays the recording on his program on CNBC, but now Howard Dean, the sore loserman of 2004, claims the scream that finished his campaign "never happened."
Trying to explain away his crazy, red-faced rant after his loss in Iowa, Dean recently told a crowd of broadcasters in Washington that he was merely trying to make himself heard over his loudmouth supporters, Broadcasting & Cable magazine reports. He claimed that none of the (pro-Democrat) reporters on hand who heard the speech noted anything unusual and that it "was only the next day, when their editors saw it, with the noise-canceling mike making Dean stand out, that it became a story," the mag says.
In his wonderfully Democratesque refusal to take responsibility for himself, the Park Avenue Vermonter, naturally, tried to blame the Dems' favorite bogeyman: Democrat donor Rupert Murdoch.
Attacking what he called the "Murdochization" of cable (i.e., the growing popularity of Fox News Channel), Dean said, "Not because Murdoch is a right winger, which he is, but because Roger Ailes is so incredibly good at what he does that the other stations are starting to copy what Fox does."
Oh. So Al Gore's supporters are "right wingers." What does that make John Kerry's supporters?
This just in: Michael Moore claims he was never a fat, stupid, liberal a$$hole.
Wow. The things they can do with audio & video now.
This is like shooting fish in a barrel.
DEMS do nothing wrong, just ask them. /sarcasm
Just wondering...will he also "not" scream at the dem convention?
But........but..........but I saw him scream! Nice try pal.
He did it. I was watching. I honestly thought that he
had been shot.
Wow. That's a lie of Clinton-esque proportions. A bald-faced denial of the defining event of his political career. I'd LOVE to see a Bush internet ad about this one. Clips of Dean denying it between 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGHHH!'s.

Is this kinda like, "I never had sex with that woman...."
That's where I had them. They laughed and made jokes, but I provided beyond the shadow of a doubt, and with geometric logic, that I did not scream.
Is it any wonder that Algore endorsed Dean?
Does anyone have AUDIO of that crazy Dean "RANT"?
It all depends on the meaning of the word "scream."
Dean's about to go off the same deep-end that algore did as a result of his defeat.
Oh, I get it. Silly me...it was just an "inappropriate encounter" with the mic....

I see. That "E-e-e-e-a-r-r-r-g-h-h-h-!" wasn't a scream. It was actually a whisper. It's just that those damned right-wing media microphones that picked it up were cranked too high in a deliberate attempt to make the restrained Mr. Dean look foolish.
Let us not forget that another leftist schizo, Michael Moore, claimed that the audience in the "rabble seats" was not booing him during his anti-Bush tirade, when he accepted his Oscar.
Dennis Miller is "saucy"? WHAT?
These leftists usually wait a few years before they attempt to rewrite history, this guy didn't even wait half a year.
Only a moron would call Murdoch a right winger. He's a shrewd businessman who found a winning formula by going where the rest of the media avoided. He hired Roger Ailes, who can correctly be labeled a "right winger". I always heard that Murdoch was somewhere on the left, just not a flaming one.
I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream! No Ben and Jerrys for Howard I guess.
Howard Dean is a Woman
OH MY GOSH! This changes EVERYTHING!
Pssst, hey Howie... you REALLY need to get back in the race and challenge Nader for the hearts and minds of the mindless Left. If you can steal Kucinich's hippies, you might still come in third!
What a butt! What amazes me is the stupidity of the people who will believe him.
Reminds me of Eddie Murphy in "Raw".
Journalist: Why did you scream?
Dean: Wasn't me.
Journalist: I saw you.
Dean: Wasn't me.
Journalist: I heard you.
Dean: Wasn't me.
Journalist: I have it on tape.
Dean: Wasn't me.
Journalist: Folks, I guess it wasn't him.
In case you all forgot:
Make sure your speakers are on.
Maybe he's trying the Kerry ploy - he screamed before he didn't scream.
This is like shooting fish in a barrel.
......and using DuPont spinners.
Makes you wanna scream, doesn't it?
Oh, right . . . And what exactly was he trying to articulate, yeearghhh?
Has Registered ever done his magic on that picture?
I never saw anything wrong with the scream. I sure wish our Republican politicians had that much spirit! Seems the Demoncrats are the ones that object to it.

Everyone on the set bout lost it laughing when she said this. And while they were laughing at her and trying to get her to realize what she just said she went on to repeat it SEVERAL TIMES!
All I know is that he's a better looking woman than his wife is....
Dean appears to be telling the truth. His "scream" was a media-manufactured story.
The reason that the scream was trouble for Dean was that he was rightfully thought of as a hot head, unstable, and liable to explode at any moment. So when it happened it just confirmed that the guy was unstable. A politician of a different reputation and demeaner could have done the same thing with not ill effects.
It's like the Monty Python dead parrot sketch:
Miller: You screamed.
Dean: No, I didn't.
Miller: Yes, you did.
Dean: No, I didn't!
Miller: (plays tape of scream)
Dean: No, I didn't!!!!
Lying.......isn't that what Libs do?
From the night of the Iowa caucus.
Yeahhhhhahh! Anyone hear that demended Dean wail?!?
The man is losing it.

A media manufactured story would be one that was created or made up. Dean screamed and people wanted to see it over and over so the media played it over and over. It happened and no amount of history revisionism will cause him to un-scream.
As they say on ESPN, "let's go to the tape."
