Wow. That's a lie of Clinton-esque proportions. A bald-faced denial of the defining event of his political career. I'd LOVE to see a Bush internet ad about this one. Clips of Dean denying it between 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGHHH!'s.

That's where I had them. They laughed and made jokes, but I provided beyond the shadow of a doubt, and with geometric logic, that I did not scream.

I see. That "E-e-e-e-a-r-r-r-g-h-h-h-!" wasn't a scream. It was actually a whisper. It's just that those damned right-wing media microphones that picked it up were cranked too high in a deliberate attempt to make the restrained Mr. Dean look foolish.

Not because Murdoch is a right winger

Only a moron would call Murdoch a right winger. He's a shrewd businessman who found a winning formula by going where the rest of the media avoided. He hired Roger Ailes, who can correctly be labeled a "right winger". I always heard that Murdoch was somewhere on the left, just not a flaming one.

... but now Howard Dean, the sore loserman of 2004, claims the scream that finished his campaign "never happened."

OH MY GOSH! This changes EVERYTHING!

Pssst, hey Howie... you REALLY need to get back in the race and challenge Nader for the hearts and minds of the mindless Left. If you can steal Kucinich's hippies, you might still come in third!

What a butt! What amazes me is the stupidity of the people who will believe him.

Reminds me of Eddie Murphy in "Raw".

Journalist: Why did you scream?

Dean: Wasn't me.

Journalist: I saw you.

Dean: Wasn't me.

Journalist: I heard you.

Dean: Wasn't me.

Journalist: I have it on tape.

Dean: Wasn't me.

Journalist: Folks, I guess it wasn't him.

The funniest explanation/excuse for Dean's wild rant was offered the next day by Mara Liasson on "Special Report with Brit Hume." She actually said, with a straight face, that the reason he was all red, veins popping, and screaming was that when he rolled up his sleeves he made them too tight, thus causing a restriction of his blood flow!

Everyone on the set bout lost it laughing when she said this. And while they were laughing at her and trying to get her to realize what she just said she went on to repeat it SEVERAL TIMES!

It's like the Monty Python dead parrot sketch:

Miller: You screamed.

Dean: No, I didn't.

Miller: Yes, you did.

Dean: No, I didn't!

Miller: (plays tape of scream)

Dean: No, I didn't!!!!

Howard Dean to visit the US Pacific Northwest:

And you know something? You know something? Not only are we going to Walla Walla, we're going to Hamma Hamma and Penewawa and Tumtum! We're going to Dosewallips and Clatskanie and Wellpinit and Queets and Toppenish and Puyallup and Yachats! And we're going to Humptulips and Athol and Ballston and Beaver and Grand Mound and Nooksack and Whiskey Dick! And then we're going to Wallace. To take back the bawdy houses! YEEEAAARGH!!
