Consider instead...recording the ability to feel pain etc...using other means. Stimulation, needle prick (like that done in an epidural), pressure, tickling, etc...

Regarding your post #61: liberal democrat leadership doesn't care if the little ones feel pain because the Democrat Party has staked their empowerment on protecting the serial killing. Their ends (to get the votes of those who want the right to kill at will) always justify any means they can employ. The Democrat Party has become a ghoulish mutation of what it once was. And it will not change until voters remove them (the Harkins, Boxers, Kennedys, Feinsteins, Murrays, Daschles, and clintons, etc.) from office to start over with moderate Democrat candidates. The Pubbies have a few to be removed, also! People like Boxer, Kennedy, Lautenberg, Harkin, Murray, et al, aren't going to suddenly grow a conscience when they long ago destroyed for demonic empowerment the one God gave them. The Faustus story doesn't leap from the mind of Goethe as whole fiction, it's based on human nature, bankrupt human nature.
