Washington, DC, Jun. 28 (UPI) -- A liberal U.S. Catholic group says a poll scheduled for release in mid-July shows Catholics are split down the middle on the upcoming presidential election.
Catholics for A Free Choice, the group that commissioned the poll, said the survey will show support for President George W. Bush and Sen. John F. Kerry split at 40 each among the 2,239 U.S. Catholics surveyed.

Pro-abort group funded by athiest George Soros.
I should hope that the Catholics never again present a bloc vote, as they had in years past, and their solidarity remains forever shattered. Then, when a disagreement comes up, it may be settled on the basis of its merit, and not as a blanket judgment.
A generation has been lost through legalized abortion.
More than that, and not computed into the mix, is the second generation that will NOT be available. Abortion is Darwinian "survival of the fittest" at its most ruthless, in that it has been a conscious decision in every instance.
The world does not allow vacuums to exist for long. Into this vacant space left by the absence of one natural-born citizen, an immigrant, whether legal or by unconventional access, comes in to fill that void. Certain genetic pools are diminished, others become much more represented. Indirectly a number of different attitudes are encouraged and a different mix of political consensus arises.
We do not yet know what the brood is that has been brought forth, if it be dragons or angels.
dang....i'm shocked
I don't doubt this could be true.
Half those in church might be Catholic in Name Only and could be sinning humanists in fact while going through the motions in church.
Could be.
Why take a poll on June 2-10 and plan to release it on July 13?
I'll tell you why.
This way, if an early poll produces 'conservative' results, they can continue secretly polling until they get the result they want and release only the poll that makes their point.
A group with no affiliation to the Catholic Church.
Half the people in the poll don't even go to church.
