I am going to, for the umpteenth time, going to say what I always say when some sick-in-the-head trampy teacher seduces a student, and male Freepers give the boy support for doing what they wanted to do when they were going through puberty. Ahem....
I don't think some of you people understand what has actually happened here because you are thinking with your little heads. When you start looking at this situation without your adolescent fantasies in mind, you will realize that in your own minds, you are supporting the flaunting or even the elimination of age-of-consent laws. Is that what you really want?

Her name is Mary Kay LeTorneau, and her father, John Schmitz, was a Republican congressman from Orange County. After George Wallace got shot, her father ran in his place, and got over 1 million votes. And then it turned out that her father, after he left congress, had an affair with one of his students (college-aged) while he was a professor, and got her pregnant twice. MK Letorneau got pregnant twice by her affairs.
This is a tragedy. Think of this 14 year old's expectations now. His best conquest is probably behind him. That will be tough to deal with.

It's worse than that. Not only did Schmitz have the children by the mistress, but he managed to keep them a secret from his wife and children. As the story goes, the gig was finally up when he was taken to a hospital in an emergency, and both "families" showed up.
Letourneau was released on parole after being given explicit instructions to stay away from the father of her first child, 14-year-old Vili Fualaau, a talented illustrator, a frequent troublemaker, and the son of a man in prison. They were discovered together in a foggy-windowed car in a parking lot in the shadow of the Space Needle (how dramatic). She went back into the pokey, and the worst news came surely enough -- she was pregnant again.
Fualaau's single mother, who disapproved of Letourneau until her first grandchild was born, sued the school district for millions for 'failing to protect' him from Letourneau. The suit was -- thankfully -- laughed out of court as a money grab.
Why did I read "In" at the end of the title as . . . "On"?
Now imagine the same scenario with your 14 year old daughter and a 24 year old man.
Or his 23-year old married daughter doing this with a 14-year old kid.
Or imagine being this 23-year woman's husband.
Yeah, let's help ruin a marriage, drive grandparents and parents of all parties involved into depression, ruin your own lives, and send someone to prison and ruin their entire professional career...heck, you could even drive some people to suicide with the grief you'd help cause! Awesome, right!?
<sigh Every teenage male imagines making it with a woman like that. The kid was darned lucky he found the teacher of his dreams to lose his virginity to.

What a waste...this woman could have had or been anything she wanted. There is no way any 14 year old could keep this woman satisfied. (however, I might apply with a years' supply of Viagra or one of the other "woodie" pills.)
