Hey, there's nothing wrong with any news publication wearing its ideology right out front for all to see. The "unbiased" mainline media are far more harmful to America than the
Nation.
I long for the good old days when newspapers and broadcasters openly admitted where they stood, and you could get a balanced view by reading both sides.

This is The Nation after all. The magazine that employs Katrina VanDenShovel. One of Chrissie Matthews favorite guests.

When it comes time to pull a lever, the people are going to have to choose between President Bush, who is a good and decent man, and John F'n Kerry, who is supported by this bunch of hateful freaks, and is an unknown who will be judged by the company he keeps.
I'm thinkin' landslide, here. The biggest Democratic debacle since McGovern. They hated Nixon too, but that did not help them at the ballot box.

I agree with you. They no longer feel the need for any restraint. They have the main stream media who are critical of the Bush campaign for dare showing a (proposed) ad in favor of Kerry that dispicts Bush as Hitler, but will give this a pass.
I say go for it. They are talking to themselves, and scaring middle America.

And, they are going to whine that Bush's camp uses an appropriate picture on his ads.

Ah, yes - Serra's "Iron Curtains" minimalism, its popularity in Europe surely a reaction to the over-the-top
Eurobad '74 style....
