Yeah that's the place, took a couple of classes out there.. Its about ten miles from town. Now that I live here its cheaper to just go out and shoot in the desert and not pay a fortune for the classes :)

Eureka has a great fireworks display for a small town. A half hour shot over the bay from a barge and visible from many areas if the fog doesn't drop below 4 or 500 feet. If the layer drops all you see is erie bursts in the mist...

Yeah. I like the little fthhht sound when the thing's going up. Very real. The way the fireworks disperse is, dare I say it, very trippy.
