Please bump this to your lists and as we get closer to July 18 prepare some local action against Moveon.org. This e-mail was just forwarded to me...we can make a difference if we take action. Here is the e-mail on how Moveon will try and discredit Fox:
For years, Fox News has been distorting the facts, covering for President Bush, and bashing groups like MoveOn. Now Uncovered director Robert Greenwald -- working with a group of Fox-monitoring MoveOn members -- has put together a documentary film that exposes Fox for what it is: partisan spin, not news.
We're using this movie to launch an organizing campaign with Common Cause and other great groups to "out" Fox News -- making sure everyone in the country knows the network is stumping for the Republican agenda.
Be among the first to see this new movie, help others see it, and take on Fox by hosting an Outfoxed house party on Sunday evening, July 18th. Sign up at:
http://action.moveon.org/outfoxed/newmeeting.html
Fox News star Bill O'Reilly will stop at nothing in acting as a partisan flak for Bush. When the 9/11 Commission reported finding no evidence of a link between Iraq and al-Qaeda, O'Reilly lashed out at the nation's major newspapers for reporting it. In June alone, O'Reilly compared Bush critics Michael Moore and Al Franken to Nazi propagandists and journalist Bill Moyers to Mao Zedong.
Unfortunately, parroting the Republican Party message is common in Fox's regular news reporting as well. Outfoxed features interviews with seven ex-Fox News employees who describe how, every day, highly partisan talking points are drawn up to influence newscasts.
When Michael Moore was asked what surprised him most during the making of Fahrenheit 9/11, he described his discovery of archived news footage the networks had edited or not aired at all in order to protect President Bush's image. His comments highlight the media's recent failure to independently evaluate Bush's claims before the war -- and no network failed more completely than Fox.
In addition to Common Cause, our partners on this campaign include the Center for American Progress, Free Press, Media Matters for America, and Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR).
On Sunday, July 18th, we'll get together to see the compelling evidence of Fox's partisanship presented in the Outfoxed film. Then we'll all join an interactive coast-to-coast conference call with Al Franken and director Robert Greenwald, to plan out how we'll take on Fox and take back our media.
Can you host a party on Sunday evening, July 18th? Sign up now at:
http://action.moveon.org/outfoxed/newmeeting.html
Inviting friends, family, and co-workers who have concerns about the media is a great way to get them involved. As a host, you have the option of just inviting people you know, or allowing MoveOn and Common Cause members in your area to join you. We'll provide you with a simple step-by-step guide to putting on a house party. We'll also ask some others to bring snacks and drinks, and to stay late to help clean up.
After you sign up to host a house party, you can get a DVD or VHS copy of Outfoxed for a $10 contribution.
Together, we will make a tremendous difference in this campaign.
Thank you, for all you do.
Sincerely, --Wes Boyd and Noah T. Winer MoveOn.org June 30th, 2004
P.S. You can see a teaser for Outfoxed in QuickTime format at: http://clips.outfoxed.org/OutFoxedTeaserMed.mov
PS: Take my word for it, if we take action they'll never see it coming: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1162691/posts
Please save and consider action on the 18th!
Forward it to O'Reilly and Hume.
LOL What a bunch of crap!! These guys are too funny to even combat on this issue.

Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
LOL....Noah's name is WINER?????? ......HOW Funny.....This is such a lame excuse for attention for Greenwald and Franken......love to see the CFR take on this.
Within three minutes they'll all be dozing off.
Rack itt
I got give props to Fox news if I know Bill he probably want invitate head of MOVE.org
That going be lineup
FoxNews is really bugging the heck out of them.
Next, they will go after .... ABC? CBS? NBC? CNN? MSNBC? PBS? NPR? or TV Land because it has The Munsters and Herman who greatly resembles Jacquestrap Kerry.
How foolish they are. Fox News is a business, and businesses need customers. Were FoxNews to be replaced with, say, Air America News, they'd be bankrupt within a couple of weeks with angry creditors knocking at their doors and owners bailing out left and right. No one wants to hear the pessimism and gloom and hatred which the ideologues harbor against those things which the vast majority of normal people care deeply about.
LOL!
I guess his word isn't worth much.
This is a flat out LIE! Some 9/11 staffers put out a finding that the NY Times and others ran with. Upon their publishing the "findings" of no Saddam/Al-Qaeda link actual 9/11 commission members got on TV as fast as they could to say that the staff findings were WRONG and that they commission did in fact find links between the two.
When is MoveOn going to do an expose on CNN purposefully LYING about Saddam, reporting Saddam's hand delivered by henchmen talking points, and purposefully IGNORING and not reporting on attrocities that CNN had intimate knowledge of for the sole purpose of maintaining a CNN Baghdad bureau?
I don't think that movie will be made any time soon.
While those numbers are beyond impressive, what makes them more so is the vastly smaller number of homes Fox is available in compared to CNN.
Don't worry, Fox News Channel will out them before they can do their dirty work!
Can we say BIG FAT LAW SUIT???????
And .. it might explain the poll numbers ..??
The sincerest form of flattery is a frantic, irrational attack.
Wow....blink blink.... cartoon people really do exist.. it's fun watching the Left flail around.. because..goodness knows.. the other major networks are SO darned objective..
Let me guess -- the "T." stands for "The".
Hey, MooreOn.org:
Once again... *sigh* ... Bill O'Reilly is NOT a newsguy. He has an OP-ED show. That means that what he says is OPINION. And he's not conservative, according to many FReepers.
And Al Franken is not biased?
And who is "director Robert Greenwald"? Google says he is a TV director, and includes works starring Olivia Newton-John?
I notice they never want to take on Brit Hume....
I think ProtestWarrior needs to infiltrate moveon and sign up for a bunch of house parties. Then instead of showing the official moveon movie, show some of (?)'s movies. That would be great.
(?) by this I mean the freeper, that makes those short interview movies. He made one outside of a movie theater that was showing Day After Tomorrow. He made movies at pro-palestinian anti-israel hippie rallies, where he was physically intimidated. For the life of me I can't remember which Freeper it is that makes these movies. Can anyone point me to his web page?
It was printed once, that's good enough for a propaganda campaign.
Ahh here it is. They should show the brain-terminal videos from http://brain-terminal.com.
the Evan Mahoney videos that is.
I got give props to Fox news if I know Bill he probably want invitate head of MOVE.org
That going be lineup
I'm not sure I understand what you are saying.
Thanks for the ping!
Moveon.org has no idea just how big a barrel of a gun they are sticking their heads into......(grin).
It will be fun watching O'Reilly have a spokesperson on his show to debate this, folks.
Tell you what. I just viewed this ad and it is damn good. It is well constructed, both from a visual and audio perspective and it definitely points out the perceived Conservative bias of Fox News.
Given that, when you look at everyone that was interviewed, they either come from a known left wing media outlet or they left Fox due to ideological differences, which is pretty much the same.
All in all, this will bring out the radical left and therefore needs to be freeped.
Right now, some parent is so proud that their little angel graduated from NYU film school and is propping up their resume with this Socialist trash.
"Forward it to O'Reilly and Hume."
Done.

MoveOn and Michael Moore and Howard Dean, those millionaire limousine liberals know how to control the liberal sheep like a herd and extract every last dollar out of them. I gotta hand it to the liberal elite, their idea of house parties where the liberal sheep pay money for DVDs, it's bad enough they rip off the liberals at the cinemas with their Fahrenheit 9/11 movie full of lies, but now they're going to rip off the liberal sheep in their own homes with liberal propaganda DVDs. No wonder Boyd, Soros, Dean, Kerry, Edwards, Clinton, Turner/Fonda, and Moore are all millionaires, they're masters of brainwashing the liberal sheep.
How hard would it be to make a montage of in context quotes and images from the "mainstream" network coverage of events, of any length you choose, that would put this farce six feet under?
Two minutes, maybe three? And that would just be from today (unintended, but now intended pun of the Today show)!
Poor pathetic creatures at Moveon.org.
They just can't stand that Clinton is no longer in power.
Can't they just move on?
Side note: I don't know how long it will last ,but msn.com has the questions "Have you ever wondered what dinosaur breath smelled like?" next to a cartoon pic of Michael Moore (related to another story on his movie). LOL!
If the MRC decided to put something together like this(although it would probably have to be put on 3 or 4 DVDs) in regards to the MainStreamMedia, I would buy it.

Joan Blades and Wes Boyd use MoveOn.org to marshall antiwar forces.

FAIR and MoveOn's Media Victories
In the last few months, small victories by Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting and MoveOn's Media Corps point to an important lesson: when journalists and media companies are held accountable by viewers and citizens, they will respond, sometimes acknowledging inaccuracies and improving their media. The political power of the internet is beginning to be realized. We just need to act in organized ways in a responsible way, and we will make a difference in the coming election.

Subject: Media Corps: Meet the Press Gets the Message
Media Corps member,
Congratulations to everyone who called or e-mailed Tim Russert this morning. After hearing from over 800 of you in a few hours, NBC's Meet the Press contacted us to discuss William Safire's untrue comments on Sunday. They got the message!
Unless you saw the show and have other concerns to address, you can refrain from calling or e-mailing Meet the Press about this issue.
Again, congratulations. This really works.
Sincerely,
--Noah T. Winer

"The credibility of Fox's so-called commitment to 'fair and balanced' reporting has been completely shattered," said Eli Pariser, international campaigns director for MoveOn.org, in a press release. "Brit Hume and others on his staff need to ask themselves if their job is to cover the news or make the news by orchestrating PR coups for Bush Republicans."

Eli Pariser
'When Michael Moore was asked what surprised him most during the making of Fahrenheit 9/11, he described his discovery of archived news footage the networks had edited or not aired at all in order to protect President Bush's image.'
Ask FatMan about the footage CNN had for YEARS that could have outed the atrocities committed in Iraq by Saddam Hussein and they didn't because they didn't want to lose their buttwipe positions in the news pools...THEY SHOULD BE ARRESTED.
Isn't he the punk who O'Reilly threw off his show because of what he was saying about 9/11?
I can't the image of the Saturday Night Live skit about the "Whiners" out of mind.
"Yes, I want much to have party at my house." Saddam Hussein, President of Iraq.
