Look Out For this Democrat Vote Fraud Trick on Election Day - and Have a Cop Make an Arrest
7/02/04

Posted on 07/02/2004 8:33:04 AM PDT by jmstein7

As we all know, for Democrats, the law is a mere annoyance… something that needs to be circumvented to achieve the desired Democrat ends.  This is particularly true on election day.

“Walking Around Money”

I’m sure that many of you have seen this – Democrats and/or Democrat affiliated groups near polling places giving people “walking round money” to vote on Election Day.  This is an illegal practice.  Note the following federal law:

18 USCS § 597 (2004)

§ 597.  Expenditures to influence voting

Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and

Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote--

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

As you see, this is an illegal activity.  If you see this practice going on on Election Day, alert the authorities immediately – cops with probable cause to believe a person or persons is (are) violating this law have the authority to make an arrest on the spot.  Further, there will probably be vote fraud hotlines set up to report this kind of thing.

You can give cops the necessary probable cause to make an arrest by showing them a copy of the law or merely citing the statute (18 USCS 597), telling them that you personally observed the law being violated, and telling them, in detail, whom you saw violating the law.

The people offering the money and the people who receive/accept the money may both be arrested and charged.

Please tell anyone you know about this law, and please take action to be on the lookout for this on Election Day.  As we say in New York – “if you see something, SAY something!”

So, let's set 'em up. Dress like a street person, hang out where the offer is being made, hidden tape recorder or video cell phone running, then make your citizen's arrest.

If you have someone else taping it, make sure they are concealed until the crime has been documented.

Unfortunately, I can't "put my money where my mouth is" because I'll be tied up all day as a district official at my assigned polling place.

But this brings up a ploy to catch them.

Believe it or not, I posted my #41 comment before reading down; you beat me to it, probably more did further down.

The last hundred odd votes in Duval County were all for "Landslide Lyndon" and cast in alphabetical order.

I've heard the same thing Ghost posted. The way it works is this...

Voters who attend the polls are screened on site by volunteer poll workers and scan their own ballots (depending on the type of system used in your precinct). However, absentee ballots have to be screened and processed by hired personnel. In the hundreds of thousands, this is an expensive proposition. Therefore, states count these ballots last.

If processing the absentee ballots won't change the outcome of the election (the winner winning by more votes than absentee ballots collected) then this process is avoided as an unnecessary expense. This means that in states like California that were solidly for Gore, they didn't bother counting the absentee ballots because it wouldn't affect the outcome in that state.

Whether this is true or just rumor, I couldn't say. It seems to make sense, though.

Your thumbnail sketch is correct, but let me clarify further: It's down to the local level, not just Gore/Bush. If, say, two candidates for the state assembly were in a close race, and the absentee/military ballots are larger than the *counted* difference between the two, then they are counted. No polling or sampling or anything like that. Hard numbers have to be in play to make a call to not count ballots.

In the case of California, like I brought up, there is less chance the military votes will be counted because of the Demo wipe-outs in some of those areas.

Thanks, SheLion, for the welcome!

:^)

I, too anticipate that cops would do nothing, even if you showed them video of a Democrat gleefully stuffing a ballot box. Still, they should be reported to and take down the name of the officer who refuses to help.

One big difference in this election however is Fox News. There was no local Fox News last big election and this year there is one in Tucson and Phoenix. (I don't know about other cities.) They might be willing to do a story if you can spot the operation and get them there in time.

I wonder what would happen here in Tucson if you had a Border Patrol vehicle parked directly in front of every polling place during the vote?

"I happen to be an expert in this area."

I appreciate your reply to my remarks.

However, in comparison to my remarks, in which I cited the constitutional jurisdiction of our federal government, you made nothing more than an unsubstantiated statement that I was wrong and then an idle boast that you are expert.

I am from the "show me" state.

How do you substantiate your remark.

"I" vote an absentee ballot. Are you saying my vote isn't being counted? (Voting absentee saves me from going to the polls).

Are you ill or do you have some sort of disability that makes it difficult for you to go to the polls?

If you are voting absentee ballot just because you are too lazy to go, then you deserve to not have your vote counted.

Yes. Unfortunately, that's exactly what I am saying. If you're in a lopsided district, your vote equals diddly squat.

Well, then, guess I will not send one in this year, and pray for the best. How's that!

Easy... click on my FReeper profile and download my law review note -- it is squarely on the subject.

Stop Vote Fraud...!

In the eyes of a liberal the only way to stop that is to seek help for the afflicted, after all, being a reformed criminal requires medical attention, intolerance and persecution can only make this medical condition worse.

Criminals need help not punishment./s

Well, I just emailed a close Maine Representative of mine. I will see what they say about my absentee ballot not being counted.

In the '00 elections that would be valid only if you were serving in the armed forces overseas.
