Look Out For this Democrat Vote Fraud Trick on Election Day - and Have a Cop Make an Arrest
7/02/04

Posted on 07/02/2004 8:33:04 AM PDT by jmstein7

As we all know, for Democrats, the law is a mere annoyance… something that needs to be circumvented to achieve the desired Democrat ends.  This is particularly true on election day.

“Walking Around Money”

I’m sure that many of you have seen this – Democrats and/or Democrat affiliated groups near polling places giving people “walking round money” to vote on Election Day.  This is an illegal practice.  Note the following federal law:

18 USCS § 597 (2004)

§ 597.  Expenditures to influence voting

Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and

Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote--

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

As you see, this is an illegal activity.  If you see this practice going on on Election Day, alert the authorities immediately – cops with probable cause to believe a person or persons is (are) violating this law have the authority to make an arrest on the spot.  Further, there will probably be vote fraud hotlines set up to report this kind of thing.

You can give cops the necessary probable cause to make an arrest by showing them a copy of the law or merely citing the statute (18 USCS 597), telling them that you personally observed the law being violated, and telling them, in detail, whom you saw violating the law.

The people offering the money and the people who receive/accept the money may both be arrested and charged.

Please tell anyone you know about this law, and please take action to be on the lookout for this on Election Day.  As we say in New York – “if you see something, SAY something!”

It's okay to use the taxpayers' money to buy votes, but it's criminal to use your own.

Stop Vote Fraud

If you recall the media tried to give FL to Gore in 2000
VNS was a private consortium owned by
ABC News, The Associated Press, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC.

All 5 of the networks and cable newsrooms "announced" Gore had won
BEFORE the 2nd time zone in FL had closed.
This cost President Bush votes in the FL panhandle.
I was at a friends house and the State of FL election website results showed President Bush was winning
WHILE the big 5 media TV and Cable newsrooms "announced their" winner.

The big 5 media TV and Cable newsrooms are the real threat to the 2004 election.

..."Early on Tuesday, November 7th 2000, TV stations and various media based in Florida reported that Gore has won Florida which was a big surprise for everyone because of strong republican support. Bush's brother Jeb is governor there and Florida usually gives support to the Republicans. Some of them questioned that and during the night CNN showed 52% Bush's lead over 46% for Gore. It is almost impossible to believe that media could have been that blind and biased to report Gore's victory."...

If they offer me money, I'll accept the cash, vote for Bush, and then turn them in.

My Grandad used to tell stories about the thirties and the days of paper ballots, when the first guy to vote would stuff a dummy vote in the box then smuggle out the real ballot, then head straight for the union hall and get his free whiskey, as stooge #2 took possession of the ballot (filled out for the Democratic nominee) and re-entered the polling place. This went on all day.

You accept the cash, you're in violation of the law, too

Don't do that. It would put you into the same class as someone who complains to the police because the gram of cocaine he bought was undersized. I wouldn't want to see you in a "Stupid Criminal" story.

The DemocRATS are so desperate to get President Bush out of office, it's hard to tell what they will stoop to. Being desperate brings out the evil in people.

I highly recommend for any Conservative that works the polls this November to keep a sharp eye out for any thing that doesn't seem on the up and up.

And by God, they BETTER count the military absentee votes! This has been in my crawl since last election.

You may have to make the collar yourself -- or have a federal marshal do so. Most police departments will not enforce federal laws -- particularly when doing so is not in the best interest of the police union.

and then there was that wonderful Lyndon Johnson who won a US Senate seat in 1948 by 48 votes.

Starr county in south Texas emptied it's cemetary that day.

I witnessed the "Florida Effect" in California. I work at the polling place. The 5pm rush is always the biggest of the day. But not in Nov 2000.

The networks had called Gore the statistical winner, so untold thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands nationwide , felt their votes to be meaningless.

They drove home instead of to the polls.

But this brings up a ploy to catch them. Freepers in those cities where this is likely to happen can dress like street people and hang around near the polls and wait for the dem criminals to offer them money. Would help if they had an accomplice to take pictures or video of the money exchange. Case closed.

My understanding is that the military ballots are never counted, if a determination is made that they wouldn't change a result.

I hate the practice, because a million votes went uncounted in California while everybody was screaming about Florida.

IMHO, if all the military ballots had been counted, the Democrats couldn't keep going around saying "Gore won the popular vote by 400,000." One simply cannot make that claim when there are a couple million ballots across the country that were never counted, and would have leaned Bush heavily.

They why are absentee ballots sent to our military overseas?  And how would they know until the ballots were counted that it wouldn't change the result?

We made a big stink in Florida when they refused to count the absentee ballots.  Even the military was upset.  But the Rats deemed that the ballots "weren't received in time," or they "weren't filled out correctly," yada yada yada.  Anything they could find to trash them.

Welcome to Free Republic, btw. :)

I know, but it would be so fun to take their money and then vote for Bush anyway. Kind of like when Ollie North used the Iranian profits to fund the contras in Nicaragua.
