New York -- “I don’t like this film being reduced to Bush vs. Kerry,” Fahrenheit 9/11 director Michael Moore tells TIME’s Richard Corliss in this week’s cover story. Moore tells TIME, “When Clinton was president I went after him. And if Kerry’s president, on Day Two I’ll be on him.”

Funny, I don't remember Moore going after Clinton and I don't expect him to go after Kerry either. Moore seems to be pychopathic liar who makes movies to showcase his lies. This statement is simply designed to give Kerry cover from Moore's wild eyed madness.

Exactly. Is it any coincidence that this Time cover story follows on the heels of the Bush campaign's story about "coalition of the wild-eyed"?

Well, Technically, Moore is telling the truth, somewhat. I am sure that he was pushing Clinton from the Left. I am sure that Clinton was not liberal enough for Moore. So, that is kind of truthful. But it bothers me that Time did not ask him on what issue he pressed Clinton on. But that is the liberal media giving a pass and a soapbox to that clown.

Then he can say that even if you pay people to find errors, there are none.

I've only gotten as far as the election coverage of the Florida debacle and I have to say that I disagree with the author in that this is a lie, not a half-truth or half-lie. When Moore says, "then something called FOX News called the election for Bush," he is stating a chronology of events that did not occur.

Actually he did in Bowling for Columbine-in regards to Clinton's BOMBING in Africa and-which lefties never mention-so for now he's their champion-until a demo is in office and he goes after him.

But why talk about a movie? Why are we so obsessed with this? Why not talk about what's going on in Washington like the recent rulings of the supreme court for example?

Actually I agree. I think Michael Moore is not so much anti-Bush as he is anti-American. He hates Bush because Bush is not afraid to assert America's power and because Bush truly believes in the essential goodness of America. What is most telling about all of this is that many Democrats are all too willing to buy into Michael Moore's propaganda (which is not just damaging to the President but is damaging to our efforts in Iraq and the war on terror as a whole) just so they can regain power. The Democrats (or many of them) have aligned themselves with a seditious propagandist (Michael Moore) who wants nothing more than to see the U.S. fail.

think this might be case of "we see the truth around us" we're all human and subject to the filters we carry with us. I guess I'm trying to say that you're right and I'm right. It's good. It's bad, depends on how you look at it and what you're personal experience is.

Moore did go after Clinton for the Kosovo war. It's perhaps the only thing besides the time of the day that I have agreed with MM. Funny how in Bowling For Columbine he blamed the Kosovo fighting for being a reason why the two boys went nuts, then he goes and supports Clark the leader of that war. Here's the article: http://www.commondreams.org/kosovo/views/mmoore.htm I would have loved to see his three part solution take place instead of fighting on behalf of the Islamo-Facsist Albanians.

What is the difference between Michael Moore and an over-turned truck loaded with manure? The second pile comtains something useful, namely a truck.

For my take on Moore and his movie, click below. This is on FreeRepublic and ChronWatch, and will shortly be published in the Canyon News in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Malibu, etc. (I don;t think most of those readers will take kindly to what I've written.)

I saw F911 last night, a friend had downloaded a video camera capture.

What a terrible film. Every "fact" was an intentional distortion.

The only way you can use the name Mike Moore and Exercise in the same sentence, is to say his film is an exercise in pure propaganda.

Anyone else seen it?

The one word description I can apply to it is "deceitful."

"Then he can say that even if you pay people to find errors, there are none."

He dances around the "Facts" in the film.

For example, he says that James Bath was hired to manage the bin Ladin families money in the US, and that Bath invested in Arbusto.

Moore never outright says that Bath invested the bin Ladins money in Arbusto, but every lefty who sees the movie comes away with that idea.

He shows Algore at a celebration that says "Victory" in the beginning of the film, and then makes it seem as if Bush stole the "Victory" after Algore already celebrated it, never mentioning that the party was a campaign event from the morning... before the polls opened.

He talks about all the poor blacks in the Military - and acts as if he cares about them - but Moore has said he hates the military before. Also he doesn't mention that blacks are in the military in the same percentage as in the overall population, and are actually underrepresented among combat troops.

His sins are largely that of omission.

' The Democrats (or many of them) have aligned themselves with a seditious propagandist (Michael Moore) who wants nothing more than to see the U.S. fail. '

A seditious propagandist, indeed - and one who is going to cause the murder of many, many Americans and allied peoples after his devilish slander, translated into other languages, circulates around the world in such places as Indonesia and additional Islamic areas.

Moore is evil.

Yup, it was Voter News Service that Effed up and called it early for Gore - before the polls had closed - so that many Pubbies in the panhandle didn't show up at the polls. Then CBS not Fox was the first to change their poll results.

"Went after Clinton, my great aunt Fanny!! What a liar."

Moore has frequently stated that Bush lied about the presence of WMD in Iraq. I would love to see someone push a microphone in front of Moore's big mouth and ask the following:

"Mr. Moore, you've stated that President Bush and the Republicans were lying about WMD in Iraq, but President Clinton and the Democrats, before Bush was sworn in, insisted on exactly the same thing: that Iraq did have these weapons.

So if it was a lie, it was one that the Bush administration was merely repeating, but it had to be of Clinton's invention. Do you have any thoughts about why the Democrat administration of Bill Clinton invented this lie?

Is this $10,000per error?

We could make a pile of money!

By the way, I've been out of the country for 10 days (in France!) and I was wondering if anyone had done an analysis of his "7 minutes" claim that Bush kept reading for 7 minutes, supposedly after being informed that the country was "under attack." Was there a thread on that on FR?

Be the first to claim your $10,000 from Limosine Michael!!!

"…Michael Moore shows a clip of CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin saying that if ballots had been recounted in Florida after the 2000 presidential vote, “under every scenario Gore won the election.”

What Moore doesn’t show is that a six-month study in 2001 by news organizations including The New York Times, the Washington Post and CNN found just the opposite. Even if the Supreme Court had not stopped a statewide recount, or if a more limited recount of four heavily Democratic counties had taken place, Bush still would have won Florida and the election.

Thomas Frank, “Film offers limited view,” Newsday, June 27, 2004.

Moore makes an exhaustive claim, That ALL studies show that Gore would have won. This is a slam dunk and not open to interpretation.

Moore is trying to distance himself from the Kerry campaign. The movie is inexorably tied to it and it shows as propaganda.

The best move is to weave a Gordian Knot about Moore, the movie and Kerry.

He cannot be allowed to distance himself from the DNC, democrats and Kerry.

You might want to check out Spinsanity.com's latest article on Moore, titled "Fahrenheit 9/11: The temperature at which Michael Moore's pants burn" By Brendan Nyhan (July 2, 2004).

There are a few other articles about Moore's track record of fabrication and outright lying, like "Dude, where is my intellectual honest?"

I find Spinsanity well worth the read, as they are about as balanced a site as you can find.

Maybe Nyhan should go after the $10 large.
