wife Peggy estimates he spends 80 per cent of his life on the road

If he were my husband, 20% at home would still be too much for me.

Bill Clinton is the most biblically literate President

Silly me, I always thought that was James Garfield.

"Mark Knoll of Wheaton College, who I think is one of the most sophisticated interpreters of social reality, says that evangelicalism has never defined itself in terms of theology, in terms of beliefs, but always in terms of politics."

This is telling.

and this: "When Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, we were able to get Arabs on our side -- because it's against the Koran for an Arab people to declare war on another. But this time, it's mostly Western nations invading Iraq. And when it happens I am afraid, I've got to tell you -- as a sociologist, and a political scientist -- I will have to tell you this: If this thing happens, the war that we start with the Muslim community will not end with the defeat and exile of Saddam Hussein, it will go on and on and on."

He describes himself as a Socialogist, Political Scientist, and an Evangelical Minister. Interesting mix.

Campolo, in a book published while Clinton was in office, argued that the Hebrew says that God "breathed" life into Adam. Thus, the fetus is not alive until it draws its first breath. Thus, abortion is peachy.

Campolo, unless he repents, will fry in hell for that kind of Scripture-twisting.

He says the right thing instinctively

Like "I did not have sex...?

Guess Campolo thinks perjury is no big deal.
