You know I don't understand money matters.....LOL. Is it?
Explain it to me; he loaned himself money and now he can't repay it?
If so, how did he afford those three houses he has now?
So who is going to pay that loan off now??
Can it be paid from the money from the Fed matching funds?
I'm still trying to understand the $100,000 from the house offer. The guy didn't get it back, but Edwards doesn't
"control" it?
The guy on the radio is calling Edwards .. Lionel Huts
I think it's the lawyer from the Simpsons
This is all WAY over my head; my mother didn't pass me the "money" gene!
I'm talkin' strictly in the accounting/ledger sense. His campaign owes him money so he can claim it's an asset. It surely is nuanced accounting, but I'm sure we'll see more it.
I wonder what interest rate he's charging all those donors and the Federal matching funds?
Same thing w/Kerry.....his campaign owes him money. However, the mortgage he got on "his" part of one of their houses is not paid out of campaign funds by the time he accepts the nomination, HE personally must pay off the mortgage.......his senatorial income and other assets will not do it, Soooooooooooooooooo what to do?
That is a very good question
No one has said that Edwards may not have been poor when he was growing up; however, most college students and law students are generally without financial means. There's a big difference in being poor as a kid and when you are an adult.
I grew up in the coal mining area of western Pennsylvania -- so I know what poor is. Big difference is I am not asking for your money to give to others who won't make the same sacrifices I did to better myself.
You sure are working hard at defending Kerry and Edwards. Any particular reason.
Nope. He was never poor. I was poor. My mom stayed at home while my daddy worked at a factory (and we aren't talking a union thug-run factory from the northeast) to raise SIX kids.
Howlin, is there anyway we can find the total number of "johns" in the two John's combined homes????
.......Could make some interesting "john" jokes and point out how extravagantly the two live....Houses that large should have a john of each person....maybe two or three: a morning john, evening john, middle of the night john..........
Wait a second. You mean the guy is a multi-millionair and he owes $5 million dollars to his campaign fund? What is it with these people, do they think they don't have to repay loans? What kind of man doesn't pay his debts?
No one's told him what to think yet. (ok, gratuitous. I'll go stand in the corner now)
