There is no shortage of investment money on this planet. The problem is to attract those funds. $20 million, $50 million is nothing compared to what is needed to develop outer space. Space tourism won't do it. Disney is worth $50 billion, that's what is needed, but even if Disney did space tourism they would not be developing space. If you want serious investments you need to establish private property rights.

It's like oil leases. Auction off some real estate leases with subsurface rights. The UN can't do it, but the US Gov't could.

The fact is that the government is afraid to take any kind of risk and that risk-taking fear has permeated the entire American culture. That, to us, is something that needs to be defeated before it defeats us.

I think she's dead on here.

That is correct. It seems that we Americans is becoming a nation of risk takers, to nation of fear of tacking risks. It is not liberals, there are some conservatives here who has this fear of risk taking....
