Their tiny ``infoshop'' includes several rows of jars that Sirman called an herb library.

Their marijuana stash?

Q: How do you hide your money from your hippie roommate?

A: Stash it under a bar of soap.

They'd invite Michael Moore to address their group but there is inadequate ventilation and no room for Axis Mikey's big butt.

So, what happens if the anarchists won't go peacably?

That's almost unbelievable.

The only problem is that it isn't unbelievable.

It's unbelievably real, or really unbelievable, or.............oh well, it IS Santa Cruz after all.

The anarchists have ``been unable to create a continuity of safe and welcoming atmosphere,''

I'll still be laughing about this one tomorrow. It will certainly keep me amused while I'm walking the dog tonight.

I don't think people who have never been to Santa Cruz can fully understand these things. ;)

More of the same from the People's Republic of Granola.

Well, you've got got something of a ping going. That's good. There should be one.

Once again, Santa Cruz becomes the laughing stock of headlines. We were due for a new one!

The Santa Cruz anarchists who rent basement space from the Resource Center for Nonviolence...

Strangely enough, we don't have one of those in Waynesboro, VA.

We have Mennonites in the park. They are pacifists. But there is no Center for NonViolence which has trolls living the basement.

On another note; CCFA won the appeal with the 6th Court.
The Coastal Commission bailed out and Santa Cruz Co. appealed to the CA Supreme Court (ahem, sorry, logging rules)The Big Court accepted the case.
