[Paul]Newman took off on his fiscal policies, saying, "I think that tax cuts for worried, wealthy thugs like me are borderline criminal," and the notion they produce trickle-down benefits for the poor is "rubbish." Actress Jessica Lange branded the Bush administration "a self-serving regime of deceit, hypocrisy and belligerence," while comic Chevy Chase heaped scorn on Bush's intellect: "This guy is as bright as an egg-timer."
Also on the bill were rockers Jon Bon Jovi, the Dave Matthews Band and John Fogerty, singer John Mellencamp, hip hop artist Mary J Blige, comic John Leguizamo, and actresses Meryl Streep and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Liberal are "play actors" and the Clintons demonstrated to the world that too many among us are easily seduced, by playing upon the lust of flesh and a desperate need to "feel" good.

Stop listening to celebrities. They do what they do for money -- that's all. I don't even know why you're listening to me. I've done commercials for both Coke and Pepsi. Truth is, I can't even taste the difference, but Pepsi paid me last, so there it is.

"Texas Bandito, how much money did you put in your pocket today?" John Mellencamp crooned in a country ballad. "You better split from that Texas Bandito, he's made this world unsafe today. Our thoughts are not free from the Texas Bandito, he's just another cheap thug that sacrifices our young."
Get a bucket....

6,200 people who paid up to $25,000 a ticket for the gala Glad to know that Kerry's supporters are everyday people; you know, the common man.
In fact, I was just telling my wife that we should drop 25 Gs on a concert....well, make that 50 Gs, since my wife and I would be going. Yep. John Kerry...getting support from us everyday people.
BAAWWAAAHHHAAA! What a friggin' joke.

Yet Kerry told these "actors" that they are "the soul of America."

how much money did you put in your pocket today? How ironic that John Cougar Jack Diane Mellonhead is complaining about Republican money at a 'record breaking' Demonrat fundraiser.

I can't stand Whoopie and I have no use for John Edwards. However, he does look young for 51 and, truth be told, probably is proud of it.
I am happy to see them squirm for any reason, particularly hypocrisy.

Do you mean that the democrats are willfully spreading false stories about the President?

LoL - how long has it been since he whizzed around in his robocar?
Lots of nice Alaska scenery in background. Kinda symbolic of how the Dims are "hooked" on themselves.

The campaign said last week it had pulled in $180-million, compared to $210-million for the Republican incumbent. Kerry took in $34-million in June alone. Uh, oh. Time to send some $ to the RNC.
