Below is my transcription of an exchange between Larry King and Sen. Kerry last night.
The transcript of the show does not have this part, but I have an audio clip of it.
(Excerpt) Read more at cnn.com ...
TOPICS: Front Page News; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: fahrenheit911; kerry
LARRY: Have you seen Fahrenheit 911?
SEN. KERRY: No I haven't, I haven't
LARRY: Do you plan to?
SEN. KERRY: I've seen it. I've watched it for the past 4 years...
Is this outrageous or am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?

I'd focus more on the "I didn't have time." to attend the national security breifing.

It IS outrageous. He's getting very bold and making statements that are going to be his undoing. Keep him talking!

Not only is the statement outrageous but the fact that CNN edited it out of a "transcript" is news in itself. What a clymer!

You are making a mountain out of a molehill. Left-wing extremists (like Kerry) have been lying about President Bush since before he took office. Faken-heit 9/11 was merely a contiuation of those lies.

hummmm....ask yourself what the media and rags would say if President Bush or anyone in his administration had said this? It would be an outrage via Ted Kennedy and Tom Dash-dog...that's what.

Sen. Kerry: No, I haven't seen Fahrenheit 911, I've watched it for the past 4 years.
Covered extensively on The Laura Ingraham (radio) Show today.
Please Kerry, keep talkin'.
Make it VERY clear that Michael Moore is your co-VP pick.

Yeah.
And his knowledge of the real world is as warped as that of the prevaricating sweathog who produced the movie.

Let's accept that as an endorsement of Moore's anti-American crapola. Master of the cheap shot, Lurch has no shame.

I saw this last night and felt as tho a bomb had dropped thru the roof.
When I repeated it to my husband who was watching a ballgame on another TV he was as shocked as I.
This from a man who didn't bother to get his national security briefing.

Since he hasn't seen it, he can't be saying 9/11 is in anyway accurate. His point is he has more information available than Moore and is (who wouldn't be) more capable of making his own conclusions. Note that I'm trying to be purely objective here and I'm in no way supporting Kerry.
To: McGruff
So much for the swing to the middle.
Note to Querry's oh-so competent staff: If you want your candidate to appear conservative (or even moderate), do yourselves a favor and hire a few moderates. Your idea of what a moderate is (let alone a conservative) is right out of a bad comic book.

I disagree with your analysis, which would make good Democratic spin (not that I'm saying you are a Kerry supporter).
When he says he saw it for four years, that can only be reasonably interpreted to mean that he is familiar with the movie's content from the press coverage (as am I though I haven't seen it either), and that it accurately reflects his impressions of the Bush administration.
There really is no other ways to interpret his comments.

You may be right, but his point could also be that it "reflects" his impressions only because they are also negative. I do not think main stream press coverage has in detail covered the movie's content. Either way it was a stupid thing to say.

To me the most telling item in the interview is when Larry refers to Sen. Edwards as 'the Vice President' .. not the VP nominee, not Sen Edwards, or any other appropriate name/title. To me, this is not a slip, not an oversight. It belies Mr. King's bias and presumptive nature.
