This may not come out until after the election. I have been following it for some time and it is mostly credible! It hinges on Brit intel as does the Niger yellowcake. Bush receives Brit intel but cannot, by an agreement from the FDR era, share it with congress. (That was why the WH said that they shouldn't have included the "16 words" in the SOTU speech--not that the intle was wrong.)

Loftus said that if Bush/Rove bring it out just before the election it could backfire.

I hope and pray this is true. I have NEVER doubted there were WMDs.

If all this is the real thing why aren't we hearing it on talk radio. Not even Savage has mentioned this.

Do you think it should come out before the election?

What is this FDR era agreement? Color me curious and fascinated by this story.

Putin's announcement a couple weeks ago got little play because it supported the Administration.

This Libyan report were probably receive similar mention, then drop to page 99.

I think very few people know about this story...even most Freepers have not heard about it before.

The issue of WMD is one I've paid close attention to and without another freeper alerting me to this matter last week, I'd have known none of this.

No surprise to me. I've long been suspicious of the shell game that seemed to happen between Iraq and Libya. 1. We invade Iraq and "no WMD". 2. Libya suddenly gives up the ghost and says "we don't want WMD", to get back in good graces.

Smelled like nothing so much as: Saddam laundering his WMD through Qaddafi, who would of course love to get the "credit" for "giving them up".

Some reports suggest that North Korea supplied the uranium, Libya supplied a hollowed out mountain which was bunker buster resistant, and Iraq supplied the scientists and nuclear program.

If this is true why wasn't it in the Senate inquiry on pre-war intelligence? Just wondering?

Will this be a September suprise? Seriesly?

What kind of documentation would it take to get it into the right hands like rush, hannity or the like.

Because Senators are idiots. Because they aren't to be trusted with certain kinds of intelligence as their leaks in previous years have proven. And until the story is nailed down, airtight, Senators won't be allowed to view the intelligence.

It should come out as soon as possible. I don't understand the delay.

During WWII it was necessary that Churchill and FDR have the best intel without leaks. Military intel was leaky, especially Brit colonial military intel which was sympathetic to Hitler! Many in the US gov were pro Stalin etc. Hence the establishment of OSS here which of course later became the CIA under congressional oversight. I wish I had more details on how the FDR agreement, a loophole in the constitution, survived.

Qad-daffy is not making himself popular with OBL. All the terrorists must have worn out their welcome very badly in Libya. Never ending parties at Mo-mar's tent, leaving the seat up, eating up all the Doritos, leaving half eaten pizza in the frig.

Or maybe Libya is a red state?

Ping to a report from FNC that Libya had Iraq's WMD program and a report is due in September.
