Gingrich, Lord lead list of speakers for Strategic Space 2004

OMAHA , Neb. (Jul. 12, 2004) The Honorable Newt Gingrich, chief executive officer of The Gingrich Group and former speaker of the House, will be a featured speaker at Strategic Space 2004, which takes place 5-7 October at the Qwest Center Omaha Convention Center and Arena in Omaha. Gen Lance W. Lord, USAF, Commander, Air Force Space Command, Lt Gen Thomas B. Goslin, Jr., USAF, Deputy Commander, United States Strategic Command, and many other national security space luminaries have also been confirmed as speakers.

Hot D*mn! I only wish Gingrich would get on board the concept of private property rights in space. I am sure he could understand the issue if he were to examine it. He is smart enough to get it.

I've heard him speak and I've met him and he has got a sharp mind and knows his history. It should be a good speech because he knows how to blend history with the future. Like Alivn Toffler he thinks outside the box. Just wish he could have been more level headed with his private life because he would have been a big asset on capital hill in the debate on the war on terror. Bottom line thou without him 1994 Republican Revolution doesn't happen. When he sets his mind on a goal he usually achieves it.

I, too, have met the man. He is very smart. Being a native Georgian, I have grown up with Newt. I remember my parents talking about him as early as the early '70's. His books are great.
