Mfume calls black conservatives puppets

PHILADELPHIA -- Conservative black organizations are formed and funded by white Republicans, NAACP President Kweisi Mfume said yesterday in an address to a packed ballroom at the group's annual convention here.
"When the ultraconservative right-wing attacker has run out of attack strategy," Mr. Mfume said, "he goes and gets someone that looks like you and me to continue the attacks."
Paraphrasing a line from a 2002 speech by NAACP Chairman Julian Bond, he said, "And like the ventriloquist's dummies, they sit there in the puppet master's voice, but we can see whose lips are moving, and we can hear his money talk."
In a speech punctuated by cheers from the audience, Mr. Mfume said: "They can't deal with the leaders we choose for ourselves, so they manufacture, promote and hire new ones."

They claim to have 500,000 members. That means there are a lot of blacks who are NOT members.

NAACP starting to realize their approaching irrelevance. They live in the past.

I am still surprised at how often these people catch me completely off guard with their horrid, specious remarks.

You'd think I wouldn't be surprised anymore, but this is beyond the pale.

Clarence Thomas and Condie Rice aren't capable of an original thought. If you don't toe the party line, you aren't a black American. And these are the folks who lecture to us about the need for tolerance and diversity in American society. Except for those who happen to be conservatives. After all to liberals, whatever our skin color, we're simply evil.

No soup for you, but that was a nice try. Care to look at the voting statistics over the past forty years? The democrat party succeeded beyond even Lyndon's wildest dreams ... sadly, black people remain disenfranchised by democrat disdain for them except at election day and are willingly slaughtering their unborn to aide the democrat program.

I think the only group less likely to have Bush visit is the AL Queda Convention

The marquee event today is the scheduled appearance of Bill Cosby, who has been criticized recently for his candid take on black America. NAACP officials say they have already cautioned the actor-comedian about his remarks at tonight's $75-a-seat event.

I love it.

Anyone who doesn't toe the party line (such as myself; such as Cosby, based on his recent comments) is persona-non-gratis, lest he might make some folks stop and think.

Can't upset the apple cart and stop the lemmings from proceeding off that cliff...

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

The thing is, IF he was invited, WE wouldn't act like they do.

For instance, look at what Julian Bond said:

During his keynote speech at the group's 95th annual convention Sunday night in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bond also assailed the Bush administration and the Republican Party, accusing the GOP of "playing the race card in election after election."

The party appeals "to the dark underside of American culture, to the minority of Americans who reject democracy and equality," Bond said. "They preach neutrality and practice racial division."

Many black people are "ready to turn anger into action, to work for regime change here at home," Bond said. "But they have to be asked. They have to be registered, organized and mobilized."

And O'Reilly was kissing his butt better then Matthews could hope today on his show.

Huh? What show were you watching?

You got it totally backwards. Mfume was kissing O'Reilly's butt BIG TIME.
O'Reilly repeatedly bashed Julian Bond, Chairman of the NAACP and Mfume's boss....and NOT ONCE did Mfume try to defend Bond's outrageous rhetoric.

In fact I saw Mfume and Bond on FOX News today and they were VERY docile and meek and completely opposite the Bush-bashing personalities they present to black audiences. They are both cowards.

Hate Speech From The NAACLP. Of course they'll never be condemned for it since conservatives exist only to be hated and consigned to society's margins. Now we're getting nearer to the truth.

Judge Thomas is an amazing man, and that has nothing to do with his race and everything to do with his mental prowess and clear judicial thinking. Dr. Rice is an outsatnding woman of high moral values, well educated, and a brilliant mind, and that has nothing to do with her race either. But the democrat black lakies will assail these two fine Americans, as if regaling ignorance by disdaining self-actualization for black people. It never ceases to amaze me how many black people swallow the bilge the democrats feed to them via the lapdog black leadership offered by Jesse, Mfume, and Bond.

"They can't deal with the leaders we choose for ourselves, so they manufacture, promote and hire new ones."

It's hard to deal with a straight face with someone named Mfume.

I don't remember seeing a string down Bill Cosby's back? Perhaps it was hidden inside the sunglasses? Try again Kweisi...the $$$$$$ has gone to your head, i.e. head=swiss bank account.
