Is the pic with the cardboard sign to Michael Moore authenticated?
There is a pic with a soldier and 2 kids holding a cardboard sign, but it comes from a website that allows one to type anything onto that cardboard sign.
This pic with the 2 soldiers and the sign to Moore seem suspiciously like that website in the above paragraph.

I, too love the Marine shot, but don't get too excited. The message on the card is obviously edited, just bring it up in any editor and zoom in. The pixellations on the edit are obvious.

Some of the artifacts in the image are a result of my PhotoShop efforts, where I edited the F-word so that this image wouldn't get this thread censored by the Admin Mod. The original image was clearer, but computer graphics isn't something I'm familiar with.
When I received this original image, Colonel Roger Knapper USMC (Ret.) vouched for its authenticity.
The two Marines with the sign is my favorite photo, today.
Actually, the images don't look edited at all. The 'pixelation' you are referring to appears to be a result of compression.
And check out the prison photos. It sure looks like burning WTC pics posted above the "pin-up" girls.
I have seen many of these "poster" images that look very good, with different messages on the posters depending on the audience.
