Laura Ingraham is trying to decide whether or not to go to the DNC convention in Boston.
TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: dncconvention; lauraingraham
Personally, I think Laura should trump the DNC foodfight and go to Baghdad and visit the troops who would really appreciate here being there.

If she goes, could she please cover the picket line? Why does the DNC give lip service to unions, but fail to pay them? Same thing on the new DNC HQ - mostly if not all non union.

If you're asking about Boston, she did not get an invite but neither did Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Newt. LOL She claims on the radio this am that she hasn't received any credentials but then she would probably be able to ride along with Hannity or O'Reilly...

I think she should go. She will be a valuable weapon to use against the democrats when the rabid left attacks her. Not that I want to see her attacked, but I suspect that she fully expects it herself.
Shes a big girl and can take care of herself.

She's whining about not being able to get credentials and/or a hotel room. Guess that will be the determining factor.
However, she handled Evan Thomas of Newsweak quite well and did get him to criticize Terraaayyyyzzzaaa and he did use the RUTHLESS word to describe Edwards in the courtroom........
There is a subtle effort to make sure these two don't get elected??????

Too late. She already said she is coming over to my place and watching the convention with me. She said she would be wearing a red, white, and blue thong. She also said she would bring the chips and beer.

---John Kerry served in Vietnam.

I can't personally understand why she'd want to go. It'd would be like dressing up in your Sunday best to go and stand in a pigsty to watch porkers get it on and listen to a lot of grunting while they crapped on your boots.

The Good Doctor has gone off the deep end recently with his rants declaring no difference between sKerry and President Bush. Can't listen to him anymore. That attitude will get KerryEdwards elected - and I think that would be a disaster.

Well don't forget that Hannity, O'Reilly and Newt, that we know of, are going to Boston...so it's not like we won't get the non liberal news...

I totally agree...that's why I like the idea of taking that same week and going to Baghdad to visit the troops who would definitely appreciate a pretty face with a smile on it! People who have never been in combat will never understand what a morale booster a pretty young woman can be to troops fighting a war. Even those who would not personally see her but would hear about the visit would be stoked!!!

To which place, Boston or Baghdad?
Boston, to report and opine the event.
Baghdad, to show her support and as a morale booster for the troops!!!

We are in agreement. She'd be doing a great thing for the troops and the effort. Don't know about the girls but the boys over there'd would get their candles lit.

Agreed.
Ms. Ingraham should make good on her musings about doing a trip to Iraq.
It would be interesting for her to get some anonymous sound-bites from some of
the troops about the Democratic Convention proceedings.

Oh yes, but not until she gets the proper innoculations for infectious diseases, learns to defend herself physcially since these democrats don't appear to be able to defend themselves verbally, and let someone know where she is every moment.
Good luck, dear. And above all, remember that even sharks appear to be smiling when they show teeth.

They televised the Bob Hope USO show and I did manage to see that, we had a few guys from our unit lucky enough to be in Bien Hoa to catch the show.
