Either that, or a veiled message to Iran regarding ISRAEL'S will to destroy their reactors. My bets are still on Israel taking out their nuclear capabilities within the next 3-4 months.

It's all part of the mullahs' "cheat/retreat" strategy as it relates to nukes. Do something brazen, and then act as though you are trying to help the US. We might have let them know that we'll be far more likely to restrain the Israelis from bombing those nuke plants if they cough up some Al Qaeda biggies.
Dang, if Iran goes the way of Libya, GWB will be the greatest peacemaker in 100 years. That would be incredible. I think there is a vast thing going on thru back channels and with the increased alert. I think people are lining up not wanting to be on the bad side of GWB and I think they think Bush will win the election and with nothing to lose, he may go in and clean their clocks.

That's not at all unprecedented. Remember how long it took to bring Khaddafi around to surrendering Libya's WMD materials and programs. And the bulk of the diplomatic back and forth came from the Brits.
