Leo Terrell on Hannity (Anyone Listening to This?)
Hannity ^ | 7/13/2004 | Pyro7480

Anyone hear this short conversation between Leo Terrell, Sean Hannity, and some NYC councilman who said he would like to slap a white man so he could feel better? The councilman hung up, and Terrell is on Hannity's side!

Is that considered hate speech?

He is about as liberal and outspoken as one can get. He blasted Cosby when he recently made the statement about black parents being more accountable.

He asked Sean what crediblity does Cosby and who is he to preach to others when he cheated on his own wife? Unfortunately, Sean didn't respond with "Does that mean that Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson and Martin Luthor King fit in that category too?

"See post #15. Terrell was a member of the NAACP"

I don't doubt that, but what I said was true as well.

He may be - but he seems to be on the side of right today.

If I were black, I would be highly offended by the notion that my skin colour should mean I can only adhere to one ideology. I suspect much of Mr. Terrell's explosion has to do with a righteous anger at that supposition.

Regards, Ivan

I actually first met Leo Terrell in high school--1985, in Los Angeles, CA (Westchester High, near LAX International Airport). I didn't like him much then, for my own reasons, and I notice that he does scream a lot.

I didn't know about his dealing with one of President Bush's nominees...I'm glad to see him on Sean's side about this (and frankly, on the right side), and that Leo is agreeing that W made the right decision not to go to the NAALCP Convention. Although, I wonder if it's more of the NAALCP trying to tell him what to do, than for any other reason.

So yes, I have met Leo Terrell, I disagree with him about as often as he disagrees with Hannity, in fact I think this is the first thing with which I've agreed with Leo, since high school. As for the original caller, I think he got the Hannity version of a "flame", or a "ZOT" (actually, he did it to himself, so I don't know if we could say he was "flamed").

Leo Terrell

You may remember him as the Civil Rights lawyer who was all over t.v. during the O.J. fiasco.

Leo Terrill is a lawyer who is semi hysterical at all times...He made a name for himself in the OJ Simpson trial by being a "talking head" friend of OJ's....He can drive one to drink.

It's an act. He's a clown. He hates white people, trust me on this.

Leo reminds me of Alan Dershowitz in a lot of ways. On most issues I'm a polar opposite from Dershotitz, but his beliefes on fighting terrorism, and treatment of POWs are amazingly conservative.

He's a black civil rights attorney and activist known mostly for his propensity to erupt in fits of barely controlled anger.

Leo is a black lawyer who yells a lot. He supports one of President Bush's judge nominations that the NAACP does not want, so he has basically left that organization.

There are actually two men remaining on the line with Sean. One is Terrell, and the other is an apologist for every evil thing the NAACP has ever said.
