That girl Jorja I recognize from ER. She was an intern on the show for at least a year.

That actress has a lot of nerve to leave not one but two successful shows.

"Brilliant move by the actor & actress involved -- just ask McLain Stevenson, Wayne Rogers, David Caruso & Suzanne Somers."

Gary Burghoff (SP) "Radar". His career just skyrocketed after he left MASH.

Turn out most of the lights on the set so that the 'investigatin' is done mostly in the dark

Exactly. I used to watch CSI fairly often, but now whenever it comes on, my husband and I scream, "Turn on the lights!" in unison and switch to something else. I didn't used to be such a stickler for verisimilitude.

They guy I'm thinking of played the oldest son "Adam" on Bonanza. Can't think of his name...

he made one of the stupidest moves in "Hollywood" when he left NYPD Blue after the first season... even he admits it...

second stupidest since Pernell Roberts of "Bonanza" fame pulled this stunt first.

Beg to disagree. David Caruso got fired from NYPD Blue and it's still on.
Law & Order has had several interchangeable characters and it's still on.
MASH survived losing McClean Steveson and Wayne Rogers.
Those two on CSI were not major deals and they can be replaced by other actors. You notice the only actor who showed up on time, other than Peterson, was the black guy who plays Warwick. He ain't stupid.

Pernell Roberts was stupid to leave Bonanza but he got a rare second chance years later playing in Traper John M.D. so he ended up doing well. Very few second chances in TV.

Yes, I remember that he had that part but I don't remember that it lasted very long and then I never saw him again.

Well that show ran 7 years and Roberts is pretty much retired now. The only remaining living cast member of Bonanza.

Wow. Obviously it didn't register high enough on my scale to keep track of it. I just remembered that it was but not for how long it was. Seven years isn't too bad at all.
